George Rogers Clark 79 St. Patrick 14 ( 10th Region Tourney)

Featured Replies

I agree. I imagine the St. Pat girls were miserable. So much for the thrill of making the region tournament.

No way anyone can make a convincing argument that blind draw is just terrible.

It blatently is about money and "giving the little guy a chance' in sports when the whole idea behind a tournament is to see who is best.

It's not a fundraiser and it is not a team building activity for the community.

Seriously wrong

Ridiculous to have the tournament up there. Only two really "northern" teams (Scott & Campbell) two, MAYBE three teams in the "middle" (Mason St. Pat (Harrison?)) and three teams more southern (Bourbon, Nicholas, GRC)

I hate to bring up the location fuss again but it's ridiculous for the more southern teams to travel around 45 minutes through or around Maysville, then another 45 minutes-1 hour up to Campbell County.

Fieldhouse would be great for girls 10th region. Everyone having no more than a 1 hour or so drive.

Maybe we should have it at Robertson County every year...that would work.

On a side note, if The Fieldhouse is such a great venue, then how come the Mason County girls play in that little bitty place in downtown Maysville ? Isn't that their "home" court ?

Seems to me that if fair is fair, then you would be lobbying for home court advantage at that fine venue......
