With Graybill coming to the plate, the Cougars decided to take their chances with Spencer and Dutcher and walk Graybill of the "on purpose" variety to load the bases. Wise Move!!!!! Believe Me!!!!

It wasn't her turn in the rotation, there has not been a rotation all year? In my opinion, It was probably a different look for Highlands. They have seen Shack every time and a different look is good at times. I see right now that Brossart has no team Dynamics at all. I'm not sure what has brought them down, but it is sure noticeable. Even my DD went out there last night and looked like she had not fire in her at all, and that's not her. I hope the team gets it all together soon, they don't have much time left. They have 2 Seniors that are very good Leaders, maybe that will pull them out of their funk.

Don't sweat it Vansmetal, I'm sure you meant nothing by it. When you get teams that cancel or you see they are not playing many games, you have a lot of unstable homes in my opinion. It's not the coaches IMO, they have enough on their plate with their Team. It's about commitment and dedication, and when your home is very unstable, you don't have either of those qualities. Fortunately most of the kids on our team (I think) don't have all the worries: food on the table, getting to school, Mom or Dad in jail....Most of them have their studies and Softball to concentrate on. JMO

Thanks for the props to the Shack on the Mound. I was very proud of daughter tonight because she was Horribly under the weather out there tonight. She only went a half day at school just to play this game. She took 4 Tylenol before the game!! I give it up to her for showing VERY MUCH Leadership out there tonight not letting her team down. Even though we didn't end up on the good end, I was a very proud Dad tonight.
