I just want to make myself clear on this situation. I posted on this because I thought some girls were done wrong. So, BiggDaddy I am for the kids!! I look at how we have been playing and we have been playing well. We were in and could have beat Ryle, Highlands, NewCath, and had a decent showing against Conner. Our pitcher has done a nice job and had some really good games in that stretch. Then we Goose Egged against Brossart, which like MommaMitchell said we didn't have very many hits. And while I'm at it I would like to apologize to MommaMitchell, I never intended to make you think that your daughter was unworthy of the award. I look back and see that she probably had the better game than some. Congrats to her! I still think Orrick is by far the most solid player on the team. I know it is based on the 2 games of District but nobody was lighting it up. On the Brossart side, I really didn't know where Childress played but I do now thanks to a post. Orth is very solid and Shackelford held us to 0 runs in a District Championship Game. I didn't see us crushing the ball and girls diving and jumping fences. That's why I posted, because of the kids. I don't like to see kids done unjustly and it happens all the time. I am done with this subject, good luck to both teams and I hope we come out with a big chip on our shoulder!

Giving my Opinion on the selections of the All District is not attacking. All players have bad games and good games. Just didn't think the correct girls were chosen. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I'm not sure if the selections for your team was justified or not, just seen some stick out and some that didn't. I would never go on here and Attack and players. Maybe you are one of those parents that make excuses for your players when they play bad, I don't. You also said you don't post on BGP, I see you have 119 NON POSTS :lol:

I would be watching who your calling a Camel Idiot, because you are one of the first ones that posted about your players hitting .800 in the District. Like I said before, You can't hit .800 when it goes between girls legs and off&out of Gloves. I just wonder who the Idiot is??????????????????????

To reply what Coach B posted in his last post, My Daughter knows how important she is to the Team. She was very happy to see the girls that were nominated on our team get the Awards. She has nothing else to prove as a Leader on Brossart. She has won numerous Awards, been Interviewed by the One and Only Ken Broo!! Is the only 4 year Starter as a Pitcher as far as I know at Brossart. And she may have broke the School Record for Shutouts this year, she has 13 currently. She loves her Teammates and has had a blast her 4 years of High School!! Oh, and I take that back, she has 1 more thing to prove, and that's going to the Big Dance!! I don't think Brossart has ever been to the Big One in Fast Pitch, I may be wrong. Go Stangs!!!:ylsuper:

To answer your first statement about why I would say the 2 players didn't deserve All District. Well you get beat 10-0 and don't get me wrong, our field did not help her out on the mound at all. But about 3 errors came from the mound, with her falling down multiple times. Our catcher had 1 good hit???? And the second part of your Quotes was you were giving your awards, basically for batting .800 for the District. IMO you are one of the Problems with Stats. If you call a ball between the legs, or hit off a glove, etc. a hit, then you are one of the problems with Brossart's false Stats. Your team played Calvary and I'm sure there were a ton of errors, not Hits. There is a Difference.... And our team probably made about 7 to 10 errors, those aren't Hits either, I hope you are following me. As for our votes for All District, IMO was a popularity Vote. Not sure what yours was and really don't care, just hate seeing good players get the shaft when they are deserving. I rest my case.

Thanks for giving props to my DD. Don't worry about her, her head is up and she isn't playing for the trophies on the wall, she is playing for her Team. Good luck to both teams in the Regionals :thumb:

Nice win by Brossart!! You definitely have our number, why I'm not sure?? I thought the District Players were not given out correctly. No way did the 2 players from our team deserve the award. Orrick was definitely overlooked AGAIN!!! Orth from Brossart was solid, Childress, I'm not sure where she played so OK??? Shackelford I thought was solid on the mound. Well we got a goose egg lol!!! I hope Orrick and Shackelford keep their heads up, because I can't stand Coaches that aren't too bright!! That's all I have to say, I'm going to bed! Good luck to both teams at Regionals

I thought my DD would have had a chance for 1st Team this year, she was 1st Team last year but I agree that shouldn't be a factor in the decision. She has had 12 shutouts this year but her Hitting was not as good as last year. I'm still proud of her and won't throw her away just yet lol. Congratulations to all the girls on the 1st&2nd Teams!! There are countless hours of hard work that get you on that list.

I think any Team can beat any Team at anytime.

Nice pitchers duel and leather flashing out there by both teams. 1 or 2 key hits it could have went the other way. Nice game by both teams!!

I do agree their schedule is tougher than some, but when you get beat by Campbell, which wasn't playing well at the time and Simon Kenton beats you 2 times, IMO,Walton should not beat Brossart. JMO, not bashing any team, maybe Verona is peaking at the right time and Brossart is just Toileting at the wrong time????
