There are a lot of us around. The rest are trying to fill out the schedule and are "working harder" as that is the key to success, as you all know. Hopefully the Birds will find an Ohio power to sharpen their beaks on, before heading into the playoffs. I'm positive that you will see the Birds in WKU sooner than later. No excuses but remember, Highlands is 4A, and chose to play up a class. I admire your confidence, but your 3-6 years of dominance seems like a stretch. Highlands did it, so I guess it's possible for BG, if the stars align properly. The next few years should be very interesting to say the least.

I'm glad that people are getting a "kick" out of the work harder thing. Kind of made me laugh too. All of a sudden people are experts on Highlands football, you know, the people that have not attended a game, or even been to a Highlands practice. I'm not sure about this, but I would say Highlands has more state titles playing up a class than most 4A or 5A teams have state titles appearances, period. How many times has your team won a state title while playing up a class, or even played up a class at all? I'm not talking about the one or two out of state games that some programs play. Obviously, I'm not talking about KY 6A.

If Hazard would have used the passing game at all in the 1st half the outcome may have been different. I'm not bashing any coaches. Two evenly matched teams playing their hearts out and leaving it all on the field. That's what state title games are all about. Congrats to both teams for their fine seasons. Very few penalties in this game, the refs did great.

Any player that says "they don't care," shouldn't leave the locker room. Anything new about the clipboard holder? If not, maybe he belongs with the I don't care players. Don't worry, they can still say that they were HHS football players. All I know is what I heard on BGP about the clipboard guy, don't even know his name and don't care to. If the players aren't fired up for this game, there is something big time wrong with the program.

Could be HHS is just that good.
