Whats the lowest enrollment numbers for Class 3A?

Have the numbers at Beechwood increased that much over the past several years?

Now that’s what I thought, that it was changed this past realignment. Before you could petition to play up and the next closet team to bottom of each class could play down due to that team playing up.

Are they giving the option back to play up fi you want or have they keeping it playing in the class your projected to play in?

my thoughts of districts for Class 1A. These are similar to the first of the 6 Class setup back in 2007. D1 Russellville, Crittenden Co, Ballard Memorial, Fulton Co D2 WeB Dubois, Louisville Holy Cross, Fort Knox, Caverna D3 Frankfort, Eminence, Ludlow, Trimble Co D4 Newport, New Cath, Bellevue, Dayton D5 Williamsburg, Lynn Camp, Berea, Paris D6 Hazard, Middlesboro,Pineville, Harlan D7 Pikeville, Betsy Layne, East Ridge, Phelps D8 Raceland, Paintsville, Fairview, Nicholas Co

Tucker Johnson getting a key rebound to put hazard up just before halftime was huge. Bulldogs come in the 3rd and extended the lead up to 7, and it floated the rest of the way until the end. Powell County cut it down to 2, but bulldogs didn’t let it any closer than that. Seth Caudill finished with 35.

Per my numbers they return close to 1,100 yards of total offense. Quarterback returns as well for them which will help. Defensively they look to return 3 of there top 11 in tackles and 5 interceptions. All 5 interceptions belong to one kid so as opposing teams you might not want to throw his way much.

He only played in the first few games and the last 3-4 of the year. He was more key on the defensive front. The Hazard offensive line was pretty deep last year and should be very solid again with even losing Partin back to Perry. But finding the depth at the nose and defensive line will be key. I think LB and DB Hazard will be fine.

The road warriors. 8 road games and 4 home games. This is counting the scrimmages. Hopefully by playoff time if they are on the road it may not rattle them.

What kind of quarterback competition do we have here? I know nothing about any of these backups. Can you give us your thoughts on this one this early?

He may end up doing good in the long run at Hazard. Hazard returns the most offensive production in Class 1A in 2026. The question is can they keep the group together. He was the offensive coordinator in 2022 when Hazard lost to raceland on a 4th and 1 first down to end the game and kill the clock. The following year he left Hazard very late in the game leaving them without OC into that 2023 season which ended up being the worst season in school history. I myself didn’t like how he left so close to the season starting and he ended up on the Bell County staff right after. Amis offense in 2022 averaged 26 points per game. They finished 8-5 on the season and had losses to Breathitt by 2, Shelby Valley by 1, Lost to Raceland by 3 in the playoffs, and lost to Bardstown and Pikeville. But he also had the luxury of having Max Johnson, and big Landon Smith at wide receiver. Max accounted for over 2,200 yards on that season. But I wish him the best of luck as I think Hazard has the talent to win it all the next few seasons. The defensive injuries hurt the bulldogs chances this year. They just couldn’t get the stops they needed but hopefully things will continue to improve as Hazard was still a young team this season. 2026 Hazard will be heavy Senior and Junior dominate. Second toughest schedule in Class 1A coming up behind only Pikeville. I believe Hazard missed on a couple of coaches they had there eyes on before going with Amis, but the outlook for him is prove everyone wrong and make that decision of hiring him look like the right one. But Go Bulldogs!!! I'm already excited for football.

I also agree what kind of season could have Bellevue had with the Pendleton kid. The staff at Bellevue has did an excellent job. I hope they can continue the success. I really like diving into these Class 1A teams.

Offensive production returning is just over 700 yards of total offense. This is counting the returning quarterback( if he is still with the team). Defense looks to return 3-4 staters and a secondary with 5 INTs returning for 2026.

The Hunter Adams legacy starts in 2026 after the retirement of legend Larry French. Middlesboro is coming off a 3rd round playoff exit to Pikeville 42-14. They will look to build off that success with several staters back from last years team. Here is the full schedule of all games that will be played. Not a clue. All I know in his first year he did well with Frankfort and this past season the numbers were low and he didn’t have the season I’m sure he was hoping for. I know he came from the Pikeville area and was custom to winning with that program. But interested in who all puts in for this one.

The kid seemed to always been in the right spot on the field making plays and catching passes. Best of luck to the young man.

The khsaa needs to find someone who can run this and keep the legacy of this site on going. Keep his legacy alive for the foreseeable future.

The Panthers are looking to rebound after a tough State Semifinals loss to the Raceland Rams. The Panthers return pretty much the house from last season excluding a star wide receiver, a couple lineman, and a linebacker. They only lost 7 seniors from 2025 team. The Panthers 2026 Schedule will look like this.
