Kid went to a Nike "The Opening" and dominated. Ran the fastest 40 they recorded at the camp (and either the fastest or 2nd fastest they've recorded all year) and has blown up as a recruit. In the last 2 days has been offered by Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Washington State, Missouri, Central Florida, and Wake Forest.

Added offers from Wake Forest, Iowa State, and Vandy.

The current king of Americana music is back with his new album, The Nashville Sound, June 16th. The album is credited to Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, making it Isbell's 1st full band album since 2011's Here We Rest. The Nashville Sound will have 10 new tracks.

Getting blasted in the district finals turned out to be a good thing for the Knights. Funny how that works. Still got to go out there and win those games however.

No Fayette Co. public schools in the 11th region tournament. Sayre is making a rare appearance and Lexington Christian is joining the party for the first time in school history. Lexington Catholic and Scott County, both 11th region tourney mainstays, also contributed to shutting out the Fayette publics. Credit should go to Josh Moore from the Herald Leader for researching this.

1st time ever getting to the regional tournament for LCA.

Great guy with a great family. Can't blame him for taking a promotion. UK will miss his JUCO recruiting and he has done a really good job developing talent. Elam has been a bust but guys like Melvin Lewis, CJ Johnson, Adrian Middleton, Naquez Pringle, and Courtney Miggins all improved a lot under Coach Brumbaugh (all juco guys besides Middleton incidentally). UK should be able to find a coach who can recruit better than Brumbaugh but they need to make sure they hire a developer first and foremost IMO. They have a great crop of freshman on the way in.

Woody signed with Toledo today. Will be a guard in college. Congrats!

Adding in the OLBs only Denzil Ware is below 6'3 (he's 6'2). With the vast majority being 6'4+. Which is irrelevant because Horton isn't a OLB prospect. Kentucky not offering had nothing to do with where Horton is from. He just doesn't have the height they want. I think the data shows that.

This just isn't true. Since 2014, which is as far back as I looked, UK hasn't signed a D-Lineman under 6'3. The vast majority of them were at least 6'4. Congrats to the kid, a great player, for finding his best fit.

I think Jason Isbell's Southeastern is perfect.

Someone on Twitter said the "Freedom Riders" which somewhat works with the horse mascot they are going to keep.

Even more impressively Walker is a part of the 70/70 club! He might even be the only member of that in state history but someone should double-check the (very) limited research I did on that.
