Decided it wasn't a good idea to play on a Sunday.

I watched him at Rupp in the preseason and came away very impressed. He has a great court maturity.

It's hard to have a common opponent with Russell, they have played Raceland 17 times. I will go with the home team by a small margin. Ashland has been playing well but in games that are this tight I go with the home folks.

in the previous post Kingofthejungle said that they would be able to stop Selby, Branham, Mayhew, or Blanton. I figured if that were the case then Boyd would score at will. Hey I got an idea lets just let them play. Those Paintsville guys are only in their late 20. Heck Frances was playing/fighting/fouling in the C.L.E.M. in his early 50's and I can promise you the CLEM is more demanding than any contest these two teams could stage.

He either doesn't like Rose Hill or just doesn't like any of their opponents.

Lewis did have enough guts to schedule Rose Hill. So lets take this opprotunity to belittle them. Lewis competed hard but just could cope with Rose Hill's size or overall quickness. Chase Jackson played very well this evening for the Royals.

FWIW, Paintsville wasn't ranked #1 in Kentucky when the tournament started. That honor belonged to Paducah. On the other hand HHS is ranked top 5 in the country. All of Paintsville's players returned the next year and then didn't win it, I don't see how they are in the same boat as HHS.

I don't know Patterson at all and he could handle Vanhoose. Who would guard Mayo or Early? HHS has at least 2 future NBA players and one of them is going to be a lottery pick. Not being partial just realistic.

I noticed in the preview by the Independent that Boyd had 11 players and 9 were seniors. Is this accurate?

Boyd should have no problem scoring over 100 in this one.
