I think the officials in our region are generally good. My only issue has been with one guys obsession with a jersey and even in that game I said it was well officiated.

Or has someone read it to him. I will echo scooterbob in that I miss him being on here. I'm sure I will see him tomorrow and hopefully he will treat me with the proper hospitality.

Rose Hill runs a van to Grayson and has for years. There is a sign up list and the families that use the service provide the necessary financing. Before everyone starts going down this road I think it is important to put things in perspective. According to today's local paper, some public schools in the area get more students from out of district than Rose Hill has students. It's is a rivalry each way and the Doss game was on a neutral court in Doss's home town. You are certainly entitled to your opinion.

I agree 100% that Ashland is better than Raceland but by the same logic is Ashland better than Doss? I think Rose Hill will have to play very well to win but I don't see this as a 20 point game in either direction.

I think I would claim to be smoking something. That's a much better excuse than confusing a 1 for a 5.

I think this will be a good game in a potentially great atmosphere. I for one hope it is the beginning of a spirited rivalry filled with intensity, class, and mutual respect. If the adults, including myself, behave themselves I think it will be. I know that the Rose Hill kids and coaches respect the heck out of Ashland's players. They play hard and with pride. I said when the game was scheduled that you have to hand it to both coaches for getting this done. No matter what happens it think its going to be alot of fun before and during and both teams will benefit in the long run.

Like I said before I have to take most of the credit. He is the only one of the Vanhoose brothers I never coached. Great job Jonathan, I know several people who are very happy for you and your family.

Anyone who thinks that there aren't several teams capable of pulling an upset come March is a fool, no make that a Fool. Russell is still the favorite. It is their's to lose but Elliott, Greenup, Rowan, Rose Hill, Ashland, Boyd are all capable of winning if things fall into place.

I have to say that I have never seen anything like this. I have to agree with everyone that it is time to fish or cut bait. Not only is it embarrassing to the school but also unfair to the man involved. Either he committed a firable offense or he didn't. The administration at Greenup has made a circus of this season and who is really hurt are the players. When you think about it there are seniors who have worked hard for years and have basically had their senior year turned upside down.

Not much to say other than Raceland beat us in everyway. Great team effort from the Rams. Best of luck Saturday.
