Only 1 game in but I am super impressed with my Purples. Yes, they have a lot of talent on the field that most teams would love to have but to think about how much fire power graduated and how they still are still rolling is a big deal. Can't say enough for our coaching staff. St X coaches will invade PRP Friday night to scout the Purples. I want to say to all X fans how much respect I have for your program and fans. Even when you smoked us in 2015 you kept it classy. I think the respect is mutual. Week 3 will be a classic matchup! Louisville area peeps. Its sometimes not fun to go watch two teams but if you get the chance, go see the Purples at PRP Friday night. I think you will see what all the hype is about in the young RB, Tisdale, for BG. Amazing talent

If you are going to beat Bowling Green, you better do it this year. Purples still can run the table this year, IMO. Next year, forget about it.

Purples looked a little better than expected for week 1 vs North Hardin (42-7; running clock). With that said, Purples fans have had weeks 2 and 3 circled on their schedule for several months now. PRP will allow the Purples to match up with a team with similar athletes. Should be speed on both sides of ball with both teams. PRP with home field advantage but I would think that the overall team speed would lean in Purples favor. Purples have 15 new starters on field. First road game vs good competition and good crowd should make for very interesting night. If Purples can win turnover battle I like our chances. I don't see a running clock in this one. Purples come out of the gate in above average fashion. Although Beau BuCANNONs final numbers are not in my hands, the BG QB had a GREAT game. He, along with Vito Tisdale were the co-offensive MVPs of the game. If Vito Tisdale stays healthy, the sky is the limit for this super sophomore. Defensively is where we can hang our hats as Purples fans. Coach Spader and his varsity first team held North Hardin to a donut! With 15 new hats on the field tonight and to beat a 6A school 42-6 is not bad. Not bad at all. When the stats come out and we post them, I think most of you will agree that the Purples in game 1, with the jitters, did pretty dog gone good. Weeks 2 & 3 will be our test. Looking forward to it!
