I've also been told several players have left the 17u team. Can anyone confirm this ?? If so which players left

How did they make sweet 16 of any bracket If they forfeigt? I heard Myles just left after they got beat in pool play. Also been hearing alot of players are unhappy with what's been going on wth the 17u team. May not be true but what I've been hearing

Hoop Dreams 16u beat The Travelers by 2. Been told Will Hager is having a good tournament. I've said it over and over, I love that kids game.

Hoop Dreams orange (coach Q) beat Southern Stampede select by 1 to advance in tournament play. Hagen Tyler hit a 3 to win it. Finished with 22 points . Hoop Dreams Black ( Davie ) got beat by a very good Team Heat out of NC. Jeremiah Tisdale had 29 points in the loss.

Good showing at state for coach Q squad. Shots just didn't fall against the Ville and the wrong people were taking the wrong shots. First time that I got to see Skyler Hunter play. Kid is a nice player . Can play inside and out and can jump out of the gym. Needs to get stronger and be more aggressive. Once he does that, look out!!! Hagen Tyler had a very good weekend averaging over 20 ppg. Best scorer in the state period. Ronnie Carson seemed to struggle all weekend

Dow has loads of talent but he just doesn't play hard. Every time I have watched him play it just looked like he was going half speed. Kind of like he doesn't "need" to play hard. I am a huge fan of Will Hager . That kid just knows how to play ball and he plays hard all the time. Very versatile and has a good nose for the ball. Cam Jones looked very good this past weekend. His athleticism is off the charts. Makes things happen on both ends of the court. Adding the Farris kid will really help this team. They need a low post presence!!!

I'm sorry but you just don't leave your team if your disappointed in how they played. To just bail on them is unbelievable, if that is true which I have heard seems to be. Rumors running rampant that the 17u team is splitting up.

Really like Evan Hall. Hard to handle one on one. Can bounce out of the gym. Was impressed with the Parker kid also. Quick off the floor and makes good hustle plays. Johnson kid is a very nice player wth a good stroke from outside. Levitch is solid but I just don't think he can play at next level. Stafford has never really impressed me much

Evan Hall is a beast. Simple as that!!! Can't guard him one on one. Definitely one of the top players in the state. Trying not to be biased but there's not a better guard or scorer in any clasS then Hagen Tyler.

UNC Asheville and Furman University now showing interest . Invited to Cornell elite camp. He really liked NKU when he went on unofficial visit. I'm sure after this weekend there will be several more schools get in the picture. I will get updated list of interested colleges and post after state tournament. #HoopDreamsCoachQ

Schedule doesn't make sense to me. Teams playing one game Friday and one game saturday. Last game of Saturday night is at 11:15 pm between 2 pool trams so when is tournament suppose to start?? Are they planning on having tournament sunday?

Yea but who are they playing against ?? Can't be very tough competition. If I was a coach I wouldn't want my players playing in a meaningless tournament the weekend before the state tournament. Chance of players getting injured !

I agree on Evan Hall. I love this kid. He just gets overshadowed by Cam Justice. I got a feeling after the state tournament next weekend Hagen Tyler won't be underrated anymore. He is a top 10 player in class of 2015 in the state period!! I also think Conway and Taylors stock will rise after next weekend. Taylor is the best PG in the state and Conway is top 20 player in class of 2015 in the state. Next weekend should be fun!!

Brandon Johnson is a really nice player. Very underrated. Agree 100% on Tyler, Taylor,Conway and Carson. After what they did with Hoop Dreams at Pitt Jam Fest people have started to take notice and realize we can play some ball in the 12th region!!!! Looking forward to state tournament next weekend. Should be some really competitive games and high level basketball

I played in and have followed 12th region basketball for the past 20 years and I have never seen this much talent spread out across the region. After this past weekend at Pitt Jam Fest look for the recruitment of several 12th region players really pick up

From what I was told Timmy had a great weekend. Hagen said he loved playing wth him. I think Timmy is the best PG in the state. He told Hagen before a game started that he was going to get him a D1 scholarship! Love the fact that 4 players from the 12th region and 3 from our area went up against the big city boys and held there own and then some!!! Jacob Conway and Ronnie Carson also had very good weekends. This team is special.
