I think Cramer is underrated, not sure if he's better than Allen, but I think he keeps improving timing with receivers his numbers will grow. But the comment was mostly about the team results. BTW- You're starting to see it already. The bomb to Ahlfeld last week hit him in stride. Remember he played baseball throughout spring ball.

Should be a good measuring stick for both teams. Highlands D has been outstanding this year, holding teams to limited yards from scrimmage and low scores (except SC). This will probably be the best QB they have faced this year however. I predict Grady Cramer getting the best of this QB duel. HHS 34-20

Watched the Ryle kid at halftime come 6 inches from a 60-yd field goal. Made me forget there was happy hour stuff in the car. Impressive! HHS kicker who is also very good finally got to show it. Fun!

It appears CC stacked the box against Dixie. Football junkies- Do they play a 5-2? If CC plays this way on Friday, I think it opens up the passing game for HHS. It'll be interesting to see how each defense takes away what the other wants to do, and subsequently what adjustments are made and which team does a better job with these adjustments.

Will recovered a fumble in the endzone. HHS does have some capable playmakers in the backfield to compliment Cooper.

From what I've seen they range from 5'-9" to 6'-2"- Most are 6'

Cooper plays a 4-3 defense, but Dixie actually ran the ball fairly well against them. Their QB is quick footed and throws well on the run. If Birds contain the QB, they should come out with a W. Birds by 2 scores..

Injuries can always derail a team, but there will be more depth on this year's squad than in previous 2 seasons for sure.

7 or 8 regular season wins would be my guess.

Honestly can't speak to the other teams, but I think Highlands team has a great group of talented players and leaders. They are determined to get it right this year and if things come together, watch out! Talented QB, experienced and dangerous backfield, strong and big sure-handed receivers, and hard-hitting defense could make for a really good season.

Cramer did a fine job halting the momentum of CCH.

Congrats Drew! It would be tough to pass up the money. If you save it, the money will pay for your schooling down the road. What a great decision to be put before you, though!

Totally agree that the behavior of the DHHS coach and the subsequent ref decisions were not good. However, I was more disappointed in the lack of discipline shown by the Bball Birds in response. Not a good look!
