It won't take as long to build it back up as you might think.This is a program only two years removed from a threepeat of 38th district. The varsity struggled last year but the JV, Freshman, and 8th grade all had winning records. There are some players coming up at every position and actually some height, a rarity for PC. Not saying PC will win a region at all but the district will be doable soon and they should be competitive. Keaton Belcher would be a good choice going forward with the potential coming up.

I will say he always gets the most out of his players and they seem to love playing for him. Hope he finds his way to PC or another staff!

Tuesday night was a low point and hopefully never repeated again. Nobody deserves that...just a bad scene. Would be stunning if anyone else got it besides Keaton. This has always been the plan from what I have understood. Look for a staff with he and his brother Kane who has JV and Freshman experience. My buddy coached the 8th grade team after being JV for four years and I could see him going back if asked but I don't know for sure.

8th grade, freshmen team, and JV team all had winning records. Decent talent coming down the pipeline for PC the next few years so it could be a good gig for whoever gets it.

Stats were on their twitter account. Very nice achievement for TBC Elite without Matt Wilson. They lucked out in getting a very nice addition in Austin Fries onto an already talented roster. The Togs team they beat in the finals had an all state guard from West Virginia and is a program used to winning big games. TBC coaches couldn't rave enough about the team defense played in tourney play. Teams averaged only 44 points against them. Coach Sowder sent me this picture of the squad.

Have seen the schedule for next year and there is no d3 nationals on it. Definitely upping the competition and exposure next year. 606 Tropics are the team coached by the Faulkner twins, correct?

TBC Elite won the Bronze bracket of the Eddie Ford without starting three Siah Holifield of West Jessamine playing. Two close losses (by 4 to EBC Blue and by 3 to Team Nashville) in pool play landed them there but they rebounded and ended 4-2. The overall record according to their twitter account is 32-10. It's a nice squad.

TBC Elite finished the AAU State in the semifinals. Pool play they defeated HLB and a very good WKY Sonics team. In tournament play they defeated the KY Players and the Louisville Magic before falling to the KY Heat by one in OT. Their guard play makes them tough to press as they don't turn the ball over much and their big guys MORE than held their own each game. This team has several guys worth watching in the future. I think its a heck of an accomplishment for a team that has only been around 1 full season to make the Final Four of state. 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th regions all represented by this program.

TBC Elite play the Louisville Magic tomorrow. My buddy said the Magic/Legends ending was crazy. Any details?

They had some success at the King James going to the final four of the gold bracket and have won two tournaments. They are a team with good parts. 15U is exciting statewide it sounds like...strong class for Kentucky.

They are Northern and Central KY. Trent McGovney and Matt Wilson from Campbell County. Hunter Wood and Wade Browning from Pendleton County. Ben Weyer from NCC. Siah Holifield amd Camron Seater from West Jessamine. Eric Dearborn from Holmes. Tanner Kidwell from Madison Southern.

TBC Elite wins pool D with an 8 point win over WKY Sonics and a 15 point win over HLB.

Talked to Coach Sowder and he said TBC seemed to find their groove this week. Excellent guard play and bigs who can hurt you in different ways. It's a team with a lot of pieces that fit well together. He said that Coach Stapleton and he could not be more pleased with their guys this weekend.

TBC (Timberwolves) are in a bracket with the SC Royals, Atlanta Celtics, and the AL Terriers in Knoxville. Team Manimal also representing KY down there this weekend.

I have no details but the KY Timberwolves won their age group in the Bluegrass Bash this weekend at KBA.

Holmes and Cov. Cath in finals would be fitting. The anticipation for that matchup would be huge. 9th region tournament will be a great one. Wish I could go!

Are people really doubting Augusta? This is a team that has freshman that play like seniors and a certifiable superstar in Bach who still plays within the team concept. Don't be surprised to see them in regional finals. Going to take a great effort to knock out Montgomery County though! Happy's boys can play!

There have been staff changes I'm just not sure who left. Anybody know? Coach Cravens will need a summer of improvement from his guys. Harrison and Nicholas both look to be strong next year and Pendleton lost 7 guys. The pot stirring does no one any good. I agree with Second Chair. Time for PC to focus on the next season!

One would think. Pendleton will have next to no experience returning and Nicholas County will continue to improve but probably still be short a few horses.

I think the superintendent was not a Simms fan at all but run off was probably too strong of a term. All water under bridge now either way. The program has moved on.

The future is extremely bright in Harrison County. This could be the first in a run of district titles for them.

The Pendleton assistants are/were very good. With that said it would be tough for a head coach to work with guys he didn't know and who had worked for the coach who was run out. The same is true for the assistants. Coach Cravens should have been allowed to pick his staff if he was not given that opportunity. The Pendleton assistants, if quality, would have landed somewhere else and the head coach could have people he knew and trusted on his bench.
