I was wondering what people think about asking the mods to allow all softball posts to be placed in here. I tried looking in the Travel forum for teams or players looking for summer ball and just saw posts about shooty hoops.

College coaches care very little for stats for the reason that they can be pencil whipped. If a coach is interested in you it's because you have been to their camps or they saw you play somewhere.

For anyone who doesn't know much about travel ball that's a whole lot of top tier teams.

The good thing is no one votes on who wins districts and region.

Beating a top 10 team will open some eyes, but to move up in my opinion you need to beat multiple teams. Last year we finally beat Conner which was huge for us. Then I think Conner went and beat ND and Boone the same week. Does that mean at the time we we're better than all 3 of those teams? No it didn't it just meant we were by heading in the right direction. Beat teams you're supposed to beat and some maybe you shouldn't and the respect will come.

9Th region tournament is going to be fun this year.
