And coaches, fans, and anyone else who loves softball

Holy Cross is playing real good ball right now and has to be the odds on favorite to win this year again

They should matter.Teams bust their behinds almost year round now,or at least tons of players do playing both High school and travel ball. The rankings are recognition for playing at a high level and votes should be awarded based on a teams accomplishments not by what they done last year. Its fun to keep up with rankings and maybe they are a bit flawed but that will get better with coaches now being able to keep up with scores and stats via internet,GameChanger and Riherds

Who do you think should be in the polls

Owensboro Catholic, even if they did play would not be the definite favorite in the 3rd Region.Hancock County is 5 time All A state runner up and is loaded with seniors and juniors that can score lots of runs.Look for Hancock to make a deep run in the tourney and Possibly take it home.

Owensboro Catholic

Lyon county?

Hancock Co.?

Lexington Christian ?

Ok,how bout Pikeville?

Seems like the All A Classic is a good early season tourney that has some quality teams every year.Who is the favorite this year and who has a chance at dethroning the,I think,3 time defending champ Holy Cross

Ky fast pitch legend coach(Greenwood) will take the helm at Meade Co. In 2018.Any thoughts?

Leslie Dixon .494 BA,.559obp 42 hits,7 doubles,4 triples,4 HR 17 RBI.Very good production from the 2 time 13th Region POY.

I did some research on Gabbard and can't find sophomore numbers but did find some freshman numbers..373,38 hits,25 rbi.1st team all region as a sophomore.A legit player to watch in 2018

Sounds like a bright future
