Maddy worked with her on defense my dd has a cannon and Maddy was helping her clean up her ground ball fielding and how good technique can be much more effective than throwing hard. The best part was standing back and watching them talk.

My dd got a chance to be put through the paces by the premier player in the entire area. She got to talk to Maddie about playing at the next level as well as having her own skills fine tuned. Definately time well spent, look forward to doing it again.

We won the regional at 12u, we used the automatic berth to the 14u USA/ASA to go to Sioux Falls as a team of 13u and went 2-3 and finished around 60.

I agree 100%. We will play in 4 or 5 qualifiers so we will have plenty of chances to get our berth for nationals. I know if you asked Shelby she would pick going to state over a qualifier.

I'll start. Some good head is down and her hands are above the ball. Some bad no extension and front knee is locked out, which will cause her to rotate her upper body and lose almost all power Or pull the ball foul even if she hits it solid.. Haylee did a good job on that pitch jamming her hands.
