  1. I agree 100% about not touching with a 10 ft pole. I never got to see SK play but I have seen Kennedy in summer ball and know she can play.
  2. This would be a major upset, considering BC beat NDA 2 times.
  3. You're preaching to the choir here.
  4. There is no doubt in my mind Moran and Smith should be on the first team but which 2 do you take off? Only the coaches that voted know why Smith was absent from the 1st team and Moran not even being an option was not the coaches that voted fault. Jessica Koors - Cooper Dallis Knotts - Boone Co. Ali Crupper - Ryle McKell Oliverio - Ryle Elizabeth Sims - Conner Kennedy Baugh - Simon Kenton Mary Beth Odom - Dixie Shelby Graybill - Highlands Casey Kohls - Newport Catholic Player of the Year: Noelle Butts - St. Henry So which two aren't deserving because of the small minds of some coaches or whatever reason from HC's coach for not nominating Moran?
  5. Dear lord please let HHS and NCC meet!!!
  6. No matter how much you want to win I would rather avoid injury to any of these young ladies.
  7. I hope its HHS vs. NCC. After the 3 games already played between the two I would love to see a fourth!!
  8. Conner has gotten hot at the right time, but still leaning towards NDA. May very well come down to how the draw goes.
  9. Highlands beat St. Henry and got blown out by NDA. Also lost 2 closes ones to Conner so have to go with St. Henry.
  10. This was a good game for sure. All three games this season were decided by 1 run each. Will be fun heading into the next few years.
  11. I think this pretty much describes the 9th region this year. It seems as if its all about match ups.
  12. Come on Lawnboy you know you loved watching HHS and Dayton!!
  13. They should just auto forfit in districts and let the other 4 play it out.
  14. This is one of the main reasons I love softball. You don't need to be the best athlete to do well. It helps but knowing how to hit, throw and catch trumps the best untrained athlete.
  15. that's why my dd has a practice bat
  16. I was told a good composite has about 150-200 hits in them. About enough for a high school and travel ball season.
  17. We have a parent who takes great pictures and he actually got this hit on film. The ball actually hit the ground before the fence and then the girl ran through the fence. For those that don't know the fences at Highlands are a pathetic joke. Thank the powers that be we are getting a new field next year.
  18. There are teams always looking on OFC. There is a whole sub forum just for it. Ohio Teams needing to Fill Rosters That covers the whole state but you can narrow your search down to Cincinnati areas teams
  19. If you weren't so good I would fire you!! Hitting Aubrey is a hard thing to do. Nice job NCC. Definately agree with JMU about best win for a NKY team so far.
  20. They also beat Western Brown who at one point was number 2 in Cincinnati division 2-6. The pitcher who beat CNE,Milford and Western did not throw against NCC. I don't even see her listed in Lawnboys report or in the papers report. In no way am I trying to take anything away from NCC, they still beat a very solid team.
  21. It's one of the great mysteries of the universe.
  22. Never play Ryle a day after they lost. Good job Ryle.
