Was that a broken play as well? -
Florida state always seem to find ways to win, but the streak has to end somewhere. I am going to take the ducks in this one, why?, because I just flat-out hate FSU. Sorry that I have absolutely no meaningful insight on this one, but my basis is sheer disdain. Winston is a disgrace of the game and his joke-of-a-coach jimbo whom allows it all to happen with absolutely no recourse are The faces of what is wrong in sports these days! They are bringing NFL antics into the college world, which makes me completely sick because I believe college football is the greatest, most competitive level of any sport out there. I apologize for taking a left turn in your thread, but I cannot stomach any discussion of shameless jameiss

Even though this is not the completely dominant team of Alabama's recent past, they still have the key players they need to get the job done. The tide will be too big and physical for the style of the buckeyes play. Alabama 35 Ohio st 13

Is Kentucky bad for college basketball?
truebluefan89 replied to theguru's topic in College Basketball
I have to think it is good for the sport as a whole. This team is somewhat of an anomaly- as in you cannot expect this level of talent to be there and work this good together year in and year out. I believe in Cal and his system will have us in the hunt year in and year out and maybe in the title hunt every couple of years, but even with my blue-tinted glasses I do not believe we will always be this DOMINANT. Much like the Michigan "fab 5", The UNC group of James Worthy, Sam Perkins, and a young Michael Jordan, this is a very special group and they will be remembered as such, so I can only see them as being good for the game. -
This game was won by the team that best adapted at playing a different style than they were used to. Neither teams post play was offensively effective,

I believe it is "EM" Eli Mohney was a young man from Mayfield who lost his life to a senseless killing. -
Oklahoma high school football playoff controversy

Not just this case, but often I think it is pitiful how many times penalties are called on "infractions" such as these that have absolutely no bearing on the play. If it is a safety issue, then I understand, but how many times have you seen a "phantom hold" called 25 yards behind the play rescinding a TD. Like someone else said, no one comes to a game to see an official, call the game fairly, but use your head. -
Paducah Tilghman vs. South Warren

ATLCat, one thing is for sure, we don't decide the outcome here, the teams will on the field. PT is playing waaaaaayyyy better ball than they were earlier, but they are the youngest, smallest and talent-lightest team I think I have ever seen play there. They have the ability to do some very good things, but the key will be is IF they can control the line of scrimmage. I believe SW can score on them, but if PT has time to work they will score as well. Either way it turns out, I believe we will see a good game tonight, and I believe you will see a much improved PT program in years to come. -

About four weeks ago, no one was expecting this one to even be close, if indeed it even happened. Now PT has earned some respect in their district and playoff showings by clicking at the right time. Their non-district schedule has prepared them for battles. The offense has shown some definite firepower, but will the small line and defense be able to holdup against the SW size advantage? That will be the key to this game. If PT can handle the LOS their offense will be the difference maker. I'll keep faith in PT to win a close one, looking forward to a potentially great game on Friday night. PT 28 SW24 -

It will definitely be a tall order, but l am not ready to count this young Tornado group out, because I believe we have yet to play our best ball. If we were playing at the level we are now at the first of the season, I believe we would have won at least 3 more games. -
Tilghman seems to thrive off of a tough schedule
