  1. Exactly, you play this game as hard as any. Come out, punch them in the mouth, and if the opportunity comes then you play subs. A dominant win here would have propelled them into the next game against a struggling Auburn with some swagger. Instead now, Auburn will be smelling blood in the water.
  2. I would have to blame the O much more than the D. A defense shouldn't have to stay on the field that much, if your offense keeps going 3 and out, the defense is bound to get tired.
  3. Maybe we should schedule Ky Christian University or Pikeville?
  4. Go home, rip your dvr out of the wall, then proceed to beat it into a million tiny pieces with a bat so that your eyes never have to gaze upon the utter horror that was this disgraceful display of a game.
  5. Tom Brady and his flat balls couldn't help KY in this one.
  6. I disagree, If UK loses this game then EKY should start next week.
  7. This is what happens when you talk about all the time your replacements are going to get before it happens.
  8. Paducah Tilghman's Sayveon McEwen had five carries for 142 yards and 4 TDs in the first quarter, also tacked on a 2 point conversion.
  9. Looks like we might be setting our QB this week as a precautionary, but we should still be able to run the ball in healthy doses.
  10. Backinblack, please do not lump a whole fan base in with one knucklehead. I haven’t met a fan base yet that doesn't have some-
  11. Not shure why you are dismissing PT so easily ATL. They may not be a number 1, but if you had actually seen the game, you may not have felt the score was indicative of the whole games performance.
  12. Maybe PT doesn't , but I wouldn't give Caldwell a one way ticket to the championship game either based on PT lost their starting QB early in the second quarter. If you don't think that has a huge impact, well then----- Not to take anything away from Caldwell, good game
  13. I still would not say the PT/Caldwell winner would top 3. I think a convincing win either way could very well put them in the argument for the 4 spot, but not top 3 at this point. My point being look what those top 3 have doing for many years in a row- Many have claimed for years that 3A is "weak", and now with a few new very good teams in the mix, many are taking note of how good a class it is. My point is that if you look at the top of the 3A , the top 2-4 teams have been doing well for years, and have been able to play with anybody in the state. These facts are what I would base the top 3 rankings on, in addition to what they have done so far this season. Therefore, I still would stick with the top 3 as is regardless of the PT/Caldwell game. Like I said previously, a convincing win might argue the winner a 4 spot, but also would shake up the 5-8 spots.
  14. Should be a good one. Both teams have big play capabilities. Score keeper will be active.
  15. That is a good point, many want to be around the game but very few want to be "The guy"
  16. That has seemed to be the case most years, Belfry has a great program, but it seems to have the smoothest road to the title game. With Boyle, Lex Cath, Central, PT, and possibly this year Caldwell in the west, their will be many state-title worthy games possibly 1-2 rounds out from the title game.
  17. Another question, other than Belfry, who are the other legitimate contenders in districts 5-8?
