Foghorn Leghorn

Did i read correctly in the update thread that Lafayette went for 2 down by 4 late in the 4th quarter?

Please, nobody question "The Field General". He's got it going on. Nobody can beat him, he's that good. He just won the internet.

Don't colleges recruit at Boone Co? Please explain how the move to CCH will help him ii this aspect?

Come on now people. Of course he knows everything about every team in the 9th region. He wouldn't have received his nomination as field general if not. It is quite a prestigious honor that isn't handed out without proper vetting.

This is an interesting one here. With SK being in the 8th region I'm not sure if any action taken by Hellbird as 9th region field general would enforcable in this situation. Let me check with the KHSAA and I will report my findings at a later date.

Did beechwood and simon kenton get their JV game in today.

Maybe each school could just hire Hellbird to give a preseason presentation to their parents on exactly what is and what isn't acceptable behavior from them? He seems to have that under control.

Thanks for clearing that up. You are so wise in the ways of the world. Maybe the KHSAA should hire you as a field general for the 9th region? If a parent needs to be ejected, you could just walk them to their car. If it was a lesser offense, say questioning the integrity of the umpire by inferring that he is making biased calls against one team, because he is a graduate of the team they are playing, maybe you could just write him a ticket or citation or something like that? I will send an email to Julian Tackett now to see if he can get started on it.

Do you think Coach Bieger should have banned you for the remainder of the season when you were thrown out of the Cooper/Boone Co game during a previous season?

Newport did withdraw.

Way to go out on a limb with your prediction. Last year's regional runner up returns the majority of their team and you have them winning the district over Lloyd, St Henry, Ludlow & Villa. You might have been the only person with that pick.

I guess when you were thrown out of the game you mentioned in an earlier post it was for being too classy? That's understandable with your degree of sophistication.

Are there any other fields in Northern Ky. that have lights besides these host sites?

how many points was a touchdown worth in KY High School Football in 2010?

I didn't realize this behavior was acceptable at knothole and little league games. I will make note of it.

Judging by the first post from this thread, it sounds like the 8th graders are capable ball players.

8th graders don't have to go to school?

Ethan Doty

It depends which umpire you get, because they all call it differently.

So you want to play National League rules without the DH also?

Maybe that could be the case. Did you bother to read the post I was replying to?

Doty, Finfrock, Rust, Gosney and Schwalbach. There may be more, but these are the ones I have heard.

Maybe because he only pitched 41 innings genius. The kid posts a 1.02 ERA with over a 10-1 K to BB ratio and your acting like that isn't impressive. Come on pal. All of this after your original argument for him being beatable is that Bishop Brossart took him 9 innings yet didn't score a run off of him. That's pretty sound logic.

Exactly, that's why I said I wasn't implying he wasn't a good coach. I was just making the point that regardless of the size of the school they still have had very talented players come through the program. Relax guy! The most talented team don't always win and many times it has nothing to do with the coaching.

I was talking about comparing the talent on NCCs team to the talent on other schools in the area? Do you think there are any basketball factories around here churning out DI & DII talent every year?
