There has to be a commitment from the administration. Their numbers could increase with a stronger backing of the athletic program Until that happens it is hard for anyone to want to be there long term.

The point was Toyota was behind bringing in players. Not true. The program is a great program with lots of succes and a great location. Period.

Toyota is not the reason. Great program with lots of success. Competitive region...great location. Getting to practice year round how can he not get better?

First, his decision will have zero impact on him winning Mr. Basketball (or not). Secondly, representing your state doesn't mean as much as it once did.

What happens at Grant Co has Zero affect on what happens at Oldham Co...now that is apples to oranges. Grant Co is not a great job right now. It is more than just players and support. With administrations that are unstable absolutely kills some jobs.

Let's hope this motivates him and he does fall into the trap of being freshman being offered. I have not seen the kid play but look forward to it.

Whoever comes out hope they avoid the "athletic" regions. Miss the days when there wasn't such a separation between the regions.

Makes absolutely no sense this move. Nicholas Co gets what they deserved. They made great strides in his tenure. This is probably why they go 13 years in between regional appearances.

After seeing Bolden play this past year on several occassions, it seems to me, as good a player as I think he is, is he getting over recruited? Correct me if I am wrong...he is 6 or 6'1, can't weigh more than 150 lbs., and plays with the ball in his hands 95% of the time. I do not see him growing and with his frame only getting somewhat bigger. He has two years to develop to take the pounding of college ball. Against two very athletic teams in the state tournament he went 12/33 from the floor with 3 assists and 8 turnovers. At his size what position will he play in college? This is not a thread to criticize but to look at his prospects for the next level. He is very good and fun to watch. My point is IMO he will play pg in college. He will need to learn how to distribute more along with developing his body. Wish him the best and hope they continue to make the Sweet 16.

Hundley has already said no as well he should. Montgomery Co is not a step up from Woodford Co and no one wants to work for that administration...so it seems.

Thacker nor Hundley will go there. It is not a high profile job. There are lots of good things in place but from what I hear the inner workings of the administration and parents will not allow normalcy to happen. Good luck to them and their new coach.

Are you saying Hatton is too good for NKU? I'm not sure you realize how good that conference is.
