John had some issues the first time these two teams played. I know the starting QB and DB did not start for disciplinary reasons. Iroquois is a very athletic team and is the only team in the region that can match JH's athleticism. That being said, I don't see them beating the Bulldogs twice this season. Going with John Hardin by 2 TDs.

Disagree with this. And I am not a Central Hardin fan, but they are very capable of scoring quick and in bunches. Look at their scores and it is easy to see they can light it up also. I don't think people realize that Central Hardin has some very good athletes at the skill positions who can score in an instant. Their QB is a pretty good passer and he also can run very well. Anyway, it doesn't matter what either of us think as we will see tomorrow night.

Was Bullitt East's starting QB not playing against JH? I thought he was.

You are really asking this question? It is going to be below freezing most likely for this game and that favors a power running team over a passing team.

Turnovers will decide this game. JH has not been good this year in the turnover department, although they have been better lately. That's how they beat BE and a cold night makes it likely there will be plenty of turnovers during this game.

Cold weather favors Central Hardin and I think it will somewhat negate Bryan Station's passing game. I think CH will pound it down Bryan Station's throat all night.

Purple was at the game and I am stunned with how bad BE played. Hopefully that had something to do with John Hardin's defense. Two teams I was worried about in the region were BE and Grayson County. Well, we play at Grayson this Friday so I am concerned about that one. I know we beat them 35-32 a few weeks ago, but that game could have gone either way. It will be cold so we will have to take care of the ball and stop their run. If we do that we will be fine.

I am not a Central Hardin fan but I have seen them enough this year to know they are the real deal. They have size and enough athletes to compete with most teams in 6A and I think they will beat Bryan Station.

Yes, he is pretty feisty today. I think Scott County comes out of that region and I think they will beat Central Hardin to do so.

I am not going to get into the middle of this but I will say that Central Hardin is the real deal this year. I don't see them beating Scott County but they are a very good team. That's it, I am outta this thread.

I would agree with this. I know very little about North Oldham, but they seem to be a very good team and I know Collins is young. That being said, I don't see anyone beating JH in 2016 or 2017.

I was not impressed by Western at all when I saw them last week. I don't see John Hardin having any competition in their district starting next year.

Adoptee, Not sure what most BG fans think, but I think that 2011 Purples team was your best. They were the best team I have ever seen.

John Hardin (#3) vs. Bullitt East (#2) has the potential for an upset. I am going strictly by seeding as I am not sure I would really consider it an upset despite John's record.

What happened was JH was just not prepared for the type of defense the BG played. I think they call it the Jungle Defense and it caused around 5 turnovers in the first half against us and just like that it was over. The QB was not mobile and couldn't escape the pressure. As has been seen the last two years we have learned our lesson well and have had a mobile QB to escape some of that pressure. Incidentally, I think Jeremy Harness just had 19 catches in a game for Murray State which is or was a record.
