  1. Prepare for all types of dirty play from Rowan. I hope Ashland runs it up on em. Put 40+ on em.....
  2. Shout out to Graham Gordon the Creek JR QB who is playing at a very high clip. Was 17-25 for 285 yards and 5 TDs and let 1 get away from him for 1 INT. if his sidekick WR RJ Taylor first drop a slant where the middle of the field was wide open, would have been 350 yards. Throw in that he also had 84 yards on the ground and he was the player of the game. Also WR Tavon Dunn had 5 Catches for 136 yards and 2 TDs. Very impressive game from the 6'2 SR Standout WR. When Creek decides to use its weapons and not be conservative, they can really put your defense in trouble. Creek moves to 4-1 with its line loss to Rival Henry Clay by 1 score in a game they led in the 4th and let slip away on the road. Now time for the 2nd half of the season. Next up. Homecoming hosting Bryan Station in another city rivalry game.
  3. The guys that do the athlete pictures at the games. I wanted to express how great it is to see these pictures of your son, daughter, athlete in a light that you normally do not get to see. I want to recommend any of you that we're on the fence in having these guys take pictures for you, it's a definite yes. Capturing special moments in time that you won't catch again, Is really special and I truly appreciate you guys for the work you have done. And the willingness to correct or make right any perceived issue is professionalism at its best. Thank you again and I hope that more of you take advantage of these opportunities.
  4. Tates Creek should be in front of McCracken IMO. McCracken played a tough schedule to date but Creek ripped them by a Bunch in the 7 on 7 at UK. Regular games aren't 7 on 7 but Creeks only loss was a tough 1 score loss to top 10 Henry Clay on the road. Creek stands 3-1 with no benchmark victories to date, but no bad losses and has been all in all impressive getting better each week. All of this settles itself on the field luckily and Creek has dates with Bryan Station and Dixie Heights coming up before district play. So they will have the opportunities to make a statement or 2....
  5. But the real question is to UK#1, would SK beat Bye and What would the spread be?
  6. I can't understand why the Lexington schools cant figure Bye Out.
  7. Preparing for Bye is truly difficult. You just never know what's coming.
  8. Tates creek comes off of a tough city rivalry loss to Henry Clay 21-13. Now goes back on the road again to Rowan County. With games coming up against Bryan Station and Dixie Heights, Creek needs to get back on the win column and gear up for the stretch run of their schedule. Thoughts, predictions, scores of the game.
  9. List getting more fine tuned as the year goes along. Looks about right. Tates Creek is good enough to be on this list and has its opportunities against Dixie Heights and city rivals coming up to make a statement. Had its chances and lost a gritty game against Henry Clay this weekend 21-13.
  10. Was such a hard hitting game. Kids were LAYED out across the board
  11. Helluva game is all I can say. Lots of wood LAYEDall over the field. Creek puts the clamps on Elijah Bell bit couldn't come up with enough points. Left points on the field. Great great game
  12. I think Tates Creek wins by 2 scores.
  13. Purple I think you are right across the board. I believe that this year folks are seeing a definite better brand of football from Lexington. And a lot of that is due Lexington teams have been young for the last few years and you are seeing the veteran, senior laden groups this year. This will be some exciting football between longstanding rivals both looking for a renaissance year.....
  14. Defensively Creek will count on tackling machine Eamon Nasr in the middle who flies all over the field from the MLB spot. Also LBs Ryan Betlach, Marshall Gant and Jaren Shelby look to make a bunch of plays. Tates Creek Secondary is stout and doesn't give up much on the passing game and this game doesn't look to change that. Clay will take shots down field but primarily relies on screens and short drop offs for its passing game. Henry Clay has a solid secondary unit. Their matchup with Creeks passing game could very well determine the outcome of the game. Clay defense is an aggressive, make plays out of aggression and pressure style defense. Seems like LBs are always coming forward, how will they respond to Creeks change of pace screen game? Creeks Defense is vastly different from years past. A modified front scheme laced with upperclassmen has Creek in folks backfield making plays instead of receiving the blow and tackling in the 2nd and 3rd level. Can the Creek front 7 continue its strong showings against a Clay offense built on speed and finesse. Keeping Bell contained is a tall task, but Creek has a lot of team speed as well. The makings of a Great, old school City Rivalry between longstanding rivals.......
  15. Super jacked for this one. Gonna be a heckuva ball game. Both teams undefeated, both teams looking strong early, both teams trying to lay claim to the city title. Both teams have blown out lesser competition with Creek grinding out a city won already with gritty Dunbar. Henry Clay with electric Elijah Bell will look to give a whole lot of Bell in this one. His normal RB Tandem mate DJ Jackson is out for this game. So, Clay turns to the 3rd member of their backfield DA Jones to bolster the run game. Creek will rely on its balance of playmakers with QB Graham Gordon passing to RJ Taylor and Tavon Dunn, and the ground attack of Casey Grimes, Martavius Carter mixed with Multi purpose back Jaren Shelby who does it all. And Creek will lean on a definite strength being its O and D Lines. Very experienced line for creek behind Deion Webb, Javon Blackburn, Tanner Gill, Tyler Sturgill all SRs. This had the makings of a great ball game.
  16. I think teams like Tates Creek, Henry Clay and Bryan Station will garner some reason to be in the top 10. Tates Creek gets to play Henry Clay, Bryan Station and Dixie Heights in the coming 4 weeks. Winning those games or 2 of 3 should have them squarely in the Top 10 IMO
  17. I believe he does a good job of capturing different athletes throughout the year. So many kids deserve attention all over the state.
  18. I think you're probably right
  19. Quote of the thread. KUDOS. LOL!!!!!!
  20. I like Tates Creek to make a move into the Top 10 soon. Games against Henry Clay, Bryan Station and Dixie Heights over the next 4 weeks should show if they belong.
