GOINGFOR2

Predictions, thoughts, discussion......

Would like to hear about this game. We play Moore this week.

Anyone hear how the transfer RB did for Rowan last week?

Congrats on the win

Yikes. Great for Clark to come out strong. Sounds like they are gonna produce this year. Looking forward to seeing them later in the year. How about the running back transfer for Rowan??

Game of the night in central KY

Great game Old school feel to this one. Tates Creek with the 2 point conversion stop to ice the game with under a minute to go. Hats off to Emory Thompson who played his heart out from Dunbar at the QB spot running the triple option. Creek played a vanilla scheme and stuck to the ground more in this one. Very balanced attack and showed a very improved defense in this one. Creek is going to be strong this year. They have found a defense to add to their high powered offense. Dunbar is much better than people Realize. I'm happy formDunbar to have the program going in the right direction

This one is an early one. 530 due to the double header. I will keep it updated best as possible

I really liked what I saw from Boyle County in our scrimmage with them. Nothing too fancy, good football. Have a nice athletic back/receiver and a very nice QB who delivers accurate strong throws when running play action. Don't know much about Lincoln but I give Boyle county respect.

I'm interested in this game as we play both. Interested to see how much difference the RB transfer for Rowan does, and to see the improvement from the young GRC group from last year.

I'm in

Lexington schools will be in the top 10 this year. 2-3 of them will see the top 10 this year IMO...

Don't get UK#1 going again.....lol.....smh

Yeah it's respect. And deserved.

The official rankings by Max Preps entering the season. 1. Trinity- 2. Scott County 3. St. X 4. PRP 5. SK 6. Henry Clay 7. Male 8. Butler 9. Henderson County 10. Madison Central 11. Campbell County 12. Meade County 13. Bryan Station 14. Tate's Creek 15. Ballard 16. Eastern 17. Ryle 18. Lafayette 19. Central Hardin 20. Dixie Heights

Scott County definitely deserves respect. Had Trinity on the ropes as well.

Dixie Heights had a losing record when it beat Simon Kenton........

Didn't you yourself say that they should have been????

No shame in losing a 1 score game to a good opponent. How is that "overrated"? They may have been overrated, but that being the evidence Doesn't scream overrated......

So, Simon Kenton losing to unranked Dixie Heights makes Simon Kenton overrated? Or Losing to Scott County twice by a total of 100 or something to 17 in 2 games..... You win some, you lose some. Don't devalue your own program by having such a narrow view on things.

Simon Kenton was good. They beat Bryan Station 29-22 in a very good game. No shame in that.

And???

Actually I think this is the year that Lexington 6A schools make noise in the top 10. Talent wise Henry Clay, Tates Creek, and Bryan Station will have Top 10 talent. And each has opportunities to prove themselves against top competition.....

FWIW......We played McCracken at the UK 7 on 7 tourney and I really liked the athleticism and size of the receivers that McCracken had. They look to have an opportunity to be an explosive group. The QB was a nice athlete and they had many good size, speed receivers. They didn't play particularly well against us, but you could see the talent was there. Looking forward to seeing how MC's season goes. Good luck.....
