Any other scores from around NKY last night?

How will the #1 seed be decided at the end of the year? I'm hearing CCH, HHS and Ryle are on a crash course for a 3 way tie for First. What method do they use? I do know that there is a 1 game playoff at the end of the year. If you aren't the 1 or 2 you might as be last. The top 4 seeds should be a bracket playoff with the bottom 4 seeded and a 1 game playoff. One of the top teams in NKY will be given a 3 seed and not have a chance to win the whole thing. And I don't want to hear that there is 3 games left to play within the Top 3. Beechwood isn't beating Ryle after what HHS did to them last night. And CCH and HHS aren't losing either. Looks like the Week 1 Sat morning matchup between HHS and CCH after the JV game is going to backfire after all. HHS is absolutely smoking teams right now. Not even close. Would love to see a CCH vs HHS rematch.

Saw this Mammoth walking in front of School the other day. Wowzers! Monster. Excited to see where this kids recruiting goes with Bob Sphire's connections in the Southeast. The guy knows some people.

If the Highlands punter is kicking the Ball from the back of the End Zone and is getting it across the 50 yard line on the Fly, then someone might be punting on Sunday's someday. I highly doubt he gets that Juice every time. If he does then he is one of the top Punters in the Country. Thinking this was not something that was intentional.

I heard the Highlands managers sneak a Helium filled Ball in just before Highlands Punts to end their Pregame each week. No one else knows. Shhhh! LOL!

Why would they change positions? Whoever is the QB#1 is at the time would now be only One play from the Backup playing. That's something the Program is trying to make sure never happens but it's reality. If Rio doesn't play JV this year then it is what it is. He is getting some pretty good Live reps in practice I'm guessing. And let's not forget there is a Freshman coming behind Rio with special pedigree. Lorenzen is just different. Watch him play, he is just different. Highlands is in a good situation unlike some teams in their District. Some studs QB's but how many have formidable backups that could get it done at a High level when QB#1 goes down. I can name two right off the top of my head. I'm guessing both wouldn't be putting their JV QB's in that situation while the Ship sinks. Good problem to have in Ft Thomas with multiple choices. That tells me Highlands is rebuilding a cupboard like Highlands has had in the past.

Great question. I believe when the game is on the line they go with their go to Guys. Just my opinion. The good part is Highlands has developed a lot of depth so they're not relying on just a few players like they were in 2021 & 2022. I certainly see a change in player readiness unlike the past. The Highlands program seems to be getting kids ready to play now instead of waiting until the kid gets to his Senior year. Quite honestly I see Freshman and Soph's catching up or even passing Sr's up as we speak. The program has changed for sure. I like change.

Any other scores from around NKY? Wanted to catch the Freshman game last night but had other obligations at Tower Park. Who do the Birds play next week?

What is scit? Saw this score and was wondering if Simon Kenton had a bunch of kids hurt or missing. Noway the Highlands program is that much better than a school like Simon Kenton.

Care to elaborate on your reason? I do know that their Sports complex would of been completed several years ago by Wayne Carlise if NCC could prove and show an increase in Class sizes. Something tells me that hasn't happened hence no Field completion yet. Maybe they're raising meaningful money but Powerball Money is how you get the Deal done.

I like Highlands but not by much. Hopefully the Birds come to play like the past couple of weeks. Are the Birds healthy? Certainly they have to have some Bumps and Bruises. This week and next week will be some Physical Football.

I'm thinking this all Raceland. NCC just doesn't have the depth.

Highlands isn't sleeping on Raceland. I have heard that Coach Sphire thinks this will be one of the best teams Highlands plays this year and that includes Covington Catholic. Raceland is legit. People saying the Birds will name the score are trying to lure everyone into that Trap. Never underestimate your opponent. The Birds are having none of that.
