Fair enough. Perhaps a little better, but if you swapped BW and NCC results would be the same. So that district may keep starters on until halftime, but all still blowouts. BW and NCC both get it, which is why they schedule very tough in non district. They know district games are scrimmages, and running clocks are imminent. Perhaps this year Newport poses a little challenge, but that's it.

Cmon. 2a is pathetic too. New Caths district is every bit as weak as BW. Why not want two teams from here have a shot at getting out of region? Brossart is not in district, nor are they on the schedule, and I believe they are 2a The Breds have two really bad playoff games as well annually, every bit as weak as BWs. No matter what class you are in, by the time you hit the third round you see a pretty good team. I'd rather see the KHSAA adopt that only the top two teams in each district make the playoffs. Why prolong a teams schedule for a week to lose on a running clock? If the outcome is almost a certainty, especially in football, why risk the injury?

You are a piece of work. Complete domination and still woofin. I watched this entire game from my iPad. The SK lines simply are not fast enough. Size doesn't match up well with size and speed. SK Finally plays someone and gets throttled. I am sure there is another inferior team up next to heal marksburys ego.

That is incorrect. He and a couple pitchers from the THawks were offered by the Evoshield Canes out of Charlotte, which is an incredible program. All three of them have committed to play for the Redskins, at least as of two weeks ago. Guess stranger things have happened, but wouldn't make since. Been over here since he was 12, and to leave once he gets to the Skins would be nuts. That's an all expenses paid, major swag gig. Gloves, bats, etc. Ethan will be the starting RF for the Skins in 2015, hard to imagine a scenario that will prepare him better for the next level in his last summer season. That said, I will get a confirmation.

They did beat Belfrey, which is a nice win, but your point is what I have been making except in support of Beechwood. Mayfield and BW play a very similar schedule, lots of large schools to get ready for playoffs. Mayfield is the reigning champ, so they get #1 based on that and only one loss. Beechwood is #2, they've lost to two teams that IMO every 1a or 2a team in this state loses to. and only one game vs a 1a team, and that's because they had to play it, it's a district game.

Somewhat agree, but you have to have a top 10. Cov Cath is decimated, probably only reason they are hanging in. No idea why Camp County is, except if you take them out, gotta slide someone else up. Same could be said about New Cath. Unless we decide it should only be a top 4, there is going to be some teams in here that normally wouldn't be. The only dominant team is Higlands, and in my opinion is the top 4 are HHS, Dixie, SK and BW, in that order, and really the rest is tough. Would probably put Scott at 5.

How many times has one of those teams kept SK from winning a title? I know of once, but the neers usually get "Marksberry'd" long before one of those teams are up.

And so do I. And Dixie and Mt Healthy are two of them, yet you guys keep wanting to brush them off, again because I think you feel your opinions matter more. Beechwood has played as good, if not better, a schedule to this point. That's all I'm saying. Not even arguing BW vs Mayfield. Simy refuting your thoughts that the schedule is that much more superior. Mt Healthy is better than any team the cards have played.

You're right. Despite the round two thrashing, McCracken is to be considered awesome b/c Mayfield fan says so, and their opinion matters more b/c Mayfield owns BW. And I stand my post. CCH maybe a stretch. Dixie? No doubter.

Mt Healthy and Dixie both hang Ls on Mayfield, maybe Cov Cath. How do we know McCracken is any good? We heard last year how good they were, but they made a fairly early exit from playoffs if I remember correctly.

I never said I would put him in there, I said he was a better and more consistent LB. I don't know the other kids on that list well enough to form an opinion. I still take Stokes over Hedger at TE, right now, as a HS player. Kid is a player, stands out every time I watch BW play.

Calm down Amijo, it's an opinion. Yes I did see the game, but if we are evaluating on just one game a lot of kids make the list. I've been to two games and watched Saturday's. He has been consistently dominant as a LB in every game I've watched. That was the first game he stood out as a WR. Stokes and #6 have been more consistent. Heck, Studer is a great WR, he's done more too. Brett would make my list, but on D. Didn't realize only your opinion counted.

BW had beaten Cov Cath is almost a decade. Last time Ole Miss beat 'Bama? Miss St beat LSU AND A&M? Revisionist history is really dumb, especially in HS football. Things change. Frankfort got over the BW hump last year. Tigers will do it this year.
