theguru Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 We have some different opinions on Simon Kenton so I ask everyone, how good is Simon Kenton?
mcpapa Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Obviously, they're good. Next week should be a good test.
uk#1fan Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 We have some different opinion on Simon Kenton so I ask everyone, how good is Simon Kenton? Good enough to be 8-0.
theguru Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 Good enough to be 8-0. How would you compare Simon 2014 to 2013 and 2012?
ggclfan Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 We have some different opinions on Simon Kenton so I ask everyone, how good is Simon Kenton? I really don't know GURU. My guess is that they are the second best team in NKY. I have not seen them play (I may try to go to see them next week as I am curious) and it is hard to judge them based on their schedule. The Dixie game will tell us something.
Fear the Nation Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Good enough to be 8-0. They are winning and over the last couple years have learned how to win. You can't take that away from them. They are beatable though. Dixie might get it done. They ( SK ) are not as good as last years group, but if they run the table again you have to give them some respect. At this point I think the hype is higher than the real deal.
uk#1fan Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 How would you compare Simon 2014 to 2013 and 2012? Overall better top to bottom this is the best SK team I have ever seen. If Racke has a off night someone else steps up. If Powell has a bad night some one else steps up. SK won 2 games with out Powell. This is only what I think. They find a way to win. I love the fact that several Sophomores get plenty of playing time.
theguru Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 I certainly respect Simon but I knew right away tonight (had nothing to do with the result) that Simon is down from last year and some other years in recent memory.

NEERFAN Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 How would you compare Simon 2014 to 2013 and 2012? Racks has done a fine job but Kuntz was a beast as a Sr and a mini beast as a Jr. Better than 2012 but 2013 was bettter.
uk#1fan Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Racke is only a Sophomore QB but he has been playing QB since he was 6 or 7 years old and he is only going to get better and better. Powell is a work horse. SK has never had linebackers as big as they have this yea Hicks, Deaton, Gowen and Carter are all over 210 pounds and fly to the ball.
uk#1fan Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 I just don't see it but I need to see them again. I will buy your ticket next Friday come watch the show!

This is the first year SK hung with X in their scrimmage. They almost tied it in the final seconds. Deaton didn't even play that game.
Rook429 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 They are pretty good for this area, but I know 3 sure ways to stop them. 1. Scott County 2. St. X 3. Trinity They meet any of these, and they get the first L. .
