theguru Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 You could argue something like Highlands, Dixie, Beechwood, it doesn't matter...

hrcarrier Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 After watching tonight's game between Dixie and Simon Kenton, I came away very impressed with Dixie. If not for the hiccup they had early on against Cov Cath, I'd give them the nod for best of NKY. In the moment, it's fair to say they are very close, if not equal to Highlands.
Bengal Maniac Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I know both HHS and Dixie have solid players throughout, but the Hoge/Moore show would be worth every penny spent.

Not seen Highlands, but agree. Said after watching them beat a really good beechwood team they were a force. Moore and those RBs running behing that line should carry them deep.
Colonel Don Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 I purposely left Highlands off of the list, because other than CovCath, they haven't played in this round robin.
theguru Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I hear what everyone is saying about Dixie, they are good, really good, but Highlands holds a mental advantage over all the other teams in NKY that is worth about 10 points.

I figured it could have went either way, but never expected Dixie to beat them like they did.
