You mean the team without it's TWO starting QBs? OK. I'll buy that. However, it would be a much better game than you'd imagine. Cooper's offense is still Cooper's offense. Low scoring affair like the CCH/Ryle game.

Am I the only one that truly believesatchups play a huge role in how teams perform

I actually believe the teams listed in the original post beat the other teams listed because mostly of matchups.

 

I I think except for the CCH game with the 2 kick returns to start the game all the other matchups would endore times than not the way the first games went.i believe Beechwood beats CCH 9 out of 10 times. I believe SK beats Cooper 9 out of 10 times and I believe Cooper beats Ryle 9 out of 10 times soley because of matchups.

Games are often about injuries, too. Didn't I hear that Cooper was down to their 3rd QB vs. SK? Didn't Wagner go out in the 1st Qr for CovCath vs Beechwood? Didn't CovCath install a new offense and move a receiver to QB vs Ryle? Didn't Ryle use their 3rd string RB and start a new QB vs Cooper and bring in a QB who gutted out the game at 50% healthy vs Cooper? I believe a healthy CovCath beats a healthy Beechwood 9 out of 10. Something you forget is Ruke Cooper game was 1st game of the bye and both teams had their starters playing and yes England started and played that game. Cooper had new players starting on offense and was also learning. So Cooper is much better as is Ryle but same players Cooper still wins.

Not true. England did not start vs Cooper and had a few carries in the second half and obviously not 100%. Soph Cole Burch got most of the carries vs Cooper. Collin was coming off about a 4 week layoff due to a nagging injury.

Yes I'm a bit bias but Cooper did beat them and I think Cooper now at just about 100% again and much improved can still beat Ryle and not taking anything away from Ryle because I love England, but Coopers defense when healthy is the best part of their team and it showed against Ryle and would again.

 

Ive been wrong before so again wouldn't be out of the picture. Just as Ryle fans think they can probably beat Cooper now. I think the matchups favor Cooper.

That's interesting. I went back and watched Hudl and he did not start or play TE vs Cooper. He only played a little bit in the second half. Collin hasn't played TE all year in a game. Seems like the TE thing was your idea.

Then when they threw to him in the first half of the game, and it was incomplete, where was he playing? Either way he played that game, Cooper stopped him and still won which as I said cooper matched up better against Ryle.

I only watched the first few series and Collin did not start or play in the first quarter. Couldn't stand to watch any more. LOL! I take your word that he had a pass thrown to him as I know you were at the game. We are certainly not the same team as week 1 due to getting healthy, personnel shifts and experience with the new system. Just like last year when you kept saying the Jags would beat the Raiders later in the year, the reverse is true this year IMHO. I agree. Both teams have evolved a lot since the beginning of the year.

I know you two seemingly resolved this but England did not play more than 5 snaps against Cooper and it wasn't until the 4th quarter. Also, Bateman did not play against Cooper so Ryle was using their 3rd RB. I'm not sure if Ryle would beat Cooper 9/10 times....maybe 8 :walk:
