What did they score against the only good team they've played all year?

This is not the same Big Moe team of last couple years. Still plenty of talent, but very beatable. Our QB was our best RB the last couple years, and we miss that. Crable is a polished thrower, but other than the Big Jake at TE he is limited in his weapons, and not a running threat at all, in fact as mentioned the entire team struggles to run it. This years team misses the 6'6 safety net at safety they had last year, he's moe wearing scarlet and gray. This is a game Trinity can win, but big question is will they try?

Agree. Two of the one seeds came to NKy and were not competitive , Bullit Central vs SK and Franklin County vs 1a Beechwood. This division must be really down?

That's not correct. Kids don't even usually register until after their junior year. Plenty of recruiting goes on before the registration.

Actually HB that has changed. Coaches can now send unlimited texts and or emails (I assume emails) to kids that are in their junior year. That and the fact that all they have to do is call te coach and say "have Junior call me", that's always been OK and at any age. That's how all the sophs get committed.

Cool story. FYI, I'm not a Dixie fan. Simply find it amusing the Bravado you're coming with. Stranger things have happened, but IMO I can't see how this game is competitive, much less Ryle win, and yes I've seen both teams. Isn't this about opinions? You seem unable to respect others opinions, why should they treat you with any? I see an OT W vs a mediocre at best Camp County team that was completely dominated by Dixie. I see an L to SK team that never was in it vs Dixie. I know you will point to Cov Cath, but Ryle played a Cov Cath team with a WR playing QB. Just not the same team. And, SK posts are amusing, he never insults or resorts to name calling. Yours are down right combative. There is no comparison.

Looks like great week 1 stuff coach. Or, the idea of 1a vs 2a is awesome too. Previous year final 4 in each division play each other. Champs vs champs, runner up vs runner up, etc. Have it in either Lexington or Louisville on a turf field. Would be awesome.

Again, why is this such a hot topic? Is New Cath fired up to play Holy Cross? Lloyd? Brossart (Daytons only W)? Was Highlands fired up to play Holmes? Harrison County? It's district play, it is what it is. Get healthy, play lots of kids. New Cath next week, time to ramp it back up.

From a competitive standpoint I agree. What is does is give Rash a chance to let some kids heal up and get fresh. BW played a pretty tough first half schedule, they know what they have. This conversation was played out in another thread. What good did district play ever do NCC? Highlands? They all play cupcakes. That's why BW and NCC finish with each other I would imagine, to get back in the swing

Agree. Too many people get confused about what letters mean, which is pretty much squat. The form letters are a dime a dozen, and every D1 school has 50 kids on campus most fall game days, only think it costs them is a ticket. Official visits are in your senior year, and paid for. The rest of these aren't worth more than a free football game for the kid and two guests. Take a look at all the offers out there. For the most part, if midway through your junior year you don't hold a D1 offer, it's not coming. They've moved on to 2017 and 2018 kids now. For Phantom, completely agree. That 27 is a beast. Heck, I'd take 33 too. If he was the lone option like some other kids he'd be well over 1000, which is why yardages don't mean much. Lots of schools have two good backs that share carries, or in dixies case 3. Put any of them on Ryle or SK they would be well over 1000.

Why don't we wait until England plays vs Dixie to determine who is the best RB? In my my mind it's Drew Moore. I know, he's a QB you say, but he still is the best runner I've seen. I don't care about yards, lot of variables with that. I look at YPC. England is a power kid, Powell more of a shifty back but does run hard. Both kids avg over 7 yards a carry, but so do a lot of other backs in the area. I would say England has played the tougher schedule of the two by a large margin. To label them as two best backs is very myopic, not sure where they get that tag from?

Ryle did not play the same CC team that Dixie did. They played against a team with a WR playing QB, and many others out. Dixie will win this game handily. If I was in a survivor league, I would feel comfortable picking this one

If the roles were reversed, it would be New Cath lamenting they can't beat Mayfield, and Noel Rash would be up there with the prior BW coach in state rings. Mayfield would have beaten any 1,2 or 3a team last few years, they have been that good. Why hasn't BG moved to 6a? Highlands to 5a? Because they don't have to. Same with BW. I am sure they wish they were 2a all these years.

A close L vs the most overrated 6a team in the state, a win vs. Mash unit Cov Cath team, and a W vs a not very good Camels team in OT have ryle feeling good. Dixie is not beat up and they are good. 38-14 Dixie.

Agree. Too many people letting a little improvement over a weak 6a influence their decision. Dixie gets to a running clock in this one
