  1. E-town’s field was nice. Big $ to maintain. The location was also a classic. A residential street right behind one of the end zones and houses on the other side. Joey Nussbaum of BW was driving his XPs over the street right into the front yard of this one house. One almost landed on the front porch.
  2. Even the grass field before they installed the turf was beautiful. Was like a putting green.
  3. I was sitting in the middle and did not see anything that resembled a rumpus. I do know the visiting teams fans at Dixie have to walk by the Dixie fans to exit and enter the bleachers. There was a lot of verbal sparring and extremely nasty language in front of little kids sitting near us. Time to grow up.
  4. Clear 2A favorite? A favorite for sure but not clearly “the” favorite. Let’s not forget the last 2 years.
  5. Does anyone know how Dixie’s scrimmage against Goshen went this past Friday?
  6. I ran into the new Coach at a baseball game and he said he had about 80 kids coming out, so no.
  7. Somewhat, but more so we talkin’ bout Wagyu beef! I am sure Coach Burke would have loved to have an impact player to launch his Colonel tenure.
  8. Wagyu burgers at Dixie at the ready from Arby’s through UberEats.
  9. Maybe it was presented as the beautiful campus in New Jersey.
  10. The first year in NKY after moving down from Michigan I went to a Beechwood game at Dayton. Walking around to the stands I came upon “The Corner”. I have never seen anything like it. I sent pictures back to my friends in Michigan and they had a hard time believing it.
  11. All I am saying is kids that are making these high profile transfers are already on the radar. It would be nice for a few them to stick around and help build a program around them. Lakota West had to start somewhere. So did Colerain and many others. If NKY kids saw it this way then maybe eventually we would be more competitive with our neighbors across the river.
  12. And Edgewood/Crestview Hills is a very nice area as well.
  13. That could be very true.
  14. I have only heard of one Turkey Foot 8th grader headed to Lakota West. Have not heard of anyone else. If they think they are too good for a NKY program then they are not a good fit to begin with.
  15. I have looked all day in numerous places for the result of the Dixie v. New Cath game played this afternoon. Can anyone help here? Thanks.
  16. This was my understanding and a staff member at the Thomas More Stadium when I called him.
  17. Does anyone know if they are going to charge admission tonight in Florence for the BW / DH game. I paid to get into Meinken last night and did not see a game not heard anything about a rain check.
  18. Which is the same as Thomas More Stadium. It is not called Y’alls stadium anymore.
  19. BW and Dixie will try again tomorrow at 5 PM at Thomas More Stadium.
  20. New Cath 7 Conner 4 in 8 innings
  21. Surprising score, for sure. After a couple of weeks I would say Beechwood is the team to be reckoned with. They run ruled the Cru and did the same to a 4-0 Dixie team.
  22. Yes. He is Class of ‘25. Might have seen some JV minutes as well, not completely sure though.
  23. Clay Hayden. If you pay attention to any polls, he was rated the 62nd best QB in the nation last year in one of them. It looks like BW will be fine at that position. We shall see.
