Make sure the equine stays out of the KFC deep fryer. You would not want to uncover any of the Colonel’s secret recipe.

Crickets. I drive by Dixie daily and keeping looking for the white smoke coming from the chimney that a new Coach has been named.
-
I would as well.
-
My thoughts are if he resides in NKY the trek to Maysville might be taking its toll but I agree with your assessment.
-
If it was a head coach he is only one year removed from a 3 year stint at Newport. 2A and 3A experience but 6A experience as an assistant previously.
-
4 perfect ACTs at Dixie a year ago. That, is a pretty high standard.
-
I do not know much about him so I was trying to gain perspective as the search for a new coach begins. So, is the thread better?
-
Out of curiosity, why do you think the TF coach is not ready for the jump to Dixie?
-
The dude was definitely trolling. 1A? Heck you guys would have a shot some years in 3A or 4A. Great program and we need fierce rivalries in this environment of lopsided blowouts throughout the state in deep rounds of the playoffs.
-
Sure do.

Responding to Hector's comment about "not being there before" which was in response to my post.

True.....I thought the same thing after I posted.

Not cool. Mayfield has dished out plenty over the years because they owned Beechwood and frankly, still do. Act like you have been there before.
-
Relax, TP. BW has taken plenty of shots from Mayfield over the years.

The first few rounds of the playoffs are a full spectrum of teams trying to figure out how to score a point against teams that are concerned about scoring too many. Nothing about that says "competitive". -

Great questions. Ask 10 people and you will more than likely get 10 varying answers. The narrative on this thread has been pulling "starters" to avoid injury and also not pile on the points into a heap of embarrassment to the opponent. However, the kids replacing the starters are for the most part going in cold and might be at more risk for injury. That opens up another can of worms. I do not think there is a definitive right or wrong answer here with so many variables in play. -

I am not downplaying anything, nor are they routine. If you understood the context of my discussion, and I do not think you did, an injury can occur at any time of the game, and yes the injuries themselves are significant and I hate to see them happen to anyone. But, the coaches get blamed for an injury when all of the armchair coaches out there think a player should have been removed from a game. What if that player was injured in the first quarter? These are not personal takes. It has been said by many over the years that the next play could be your last one. But in no way, am I ok with seeing a kid go down. -

I did not mean the injury was insignificant. I meant that an injury can happen on any play, and at any stage of the game. I think Brady Moore realizes that as well as any player that takes the field. -

Injuries can happen at anytime including the opening kickoff. When, they occur in a game, is of no significant other than they occur.
