So, let me say up front. I have no problem with how Campbell handled themselves in this game. It is very entertaining though to watch threads like this play out. They have a dash of irony, a teaspoon of bias and 3 cups of hipocrisy. We have people in this and other threads commenting on there being several pages to this thread, yet they are a big part of what keeps it going. Then we have sarcastic comments about how the St Pat/Bracken boys game ended, all the while knowing that if the roles were reversed and the officials had walked over to their coaching staff and said we're putting time back on the clock, their or any other coach wouldn't have declined the opportunity. Then there is the claim of some unsportsmanlike conduct in the same game(St Pat/Bracken boys)on Bracken's players, yet no mention of their players taunting the crowd and using extremely vulgar language. Again, highly entertaining.

So which gym is this being played at?

Probably will also describe the entire 10th region tourney.

Serious? Who knows. Certainly not unbiased though. Saw Austin Crawford in many games longer that he should be, according to this criteria. Which is definitely not a criticism of him or his coaches. The list is never ending of players who are left in games perhaps longer than they should be, again, according to this criteria.

This seed vs draw debate continues to amaze me. When the discussion is had without the names of any schools, it's usually unanimous that seeding is the logical decision. But then when names of certain schools are factored back into the debate and the emotions and loyalties of those schools surface, people seem to lose all good sense of judgment.

@LCDAWGS19 As a side note, I hear that during starter introductions at PC home games an emphasis is put on where the player is from. Have they always done that or is that a subtle jab at the current state of transfers in high school basketball?

I understand where you're coming from with moot point. And by some standards, I guess you're correct. But the very fact that a middle school team inspires someone to say they are loaded and to look out for them when they get to high school and they are primarily all transfers, it then loses the ability to be a moot point. And there are many scenarios where there could be deep roots, but yet kids don't attend that school. But in this particular situation, if the roots were that deep, the kids would have already been there. **I realize this discussion doesn't belong in this thread and won't comment about it anymore.

Would that "load of talent" be players who weren't Augusta students last year?

Stating that transfers MAY affect their position in the rankings is a far cry from saying that they may compete with the top teams.

...and will be interesting to see how much they use homegrown 8th grader, Justin Becker. Whether it be this season or future seasons, this young man is going to make A LOT of noise.

It's my understanding there may be a couple underclassman transfers.

I believe transfer(s) should be plural.

Think there's an outside chance that some new additions to Robertson and Augusta could impact their standings. If not this year, more than likely will in the future.
