That's because of the small number of OC fans on here.

I remember they stacked the box on us. We couldn't move the ball at all. We didn't adjust at all in the first half and it was nearly over at half time.

It was heavy OC for sure. I don't think they talked about Mayfield at all or very little.

They do good production.

I think we will be by far the best team OC has seen. The combination of a good running attack and good passing attack gives me hope. Plus, the defense will be the best OC has seen with speed everywhere. I think OC will score but will it be enough?

I thought Beechwood had the receivers, they made some really good catches and were fast.

He looks like the real deal. But let's see if his receivers get the separation against Mayfield that they do here. I also like that he has some wheels, he looks hard to bring down. I'm no expert on what makes a good college QB but he certainly passes the eye test.

You know Cartwright is a good quarterback in his own right. I can’t name his stats but by the ole eye ball test, I’d say he is a very good and solid quarterback.

Mayfield was lucky they got the number 2 postion in the RPI which got them home field advantage because if they had to travel to LCA or Beechwood, it might have been different. Home field means a lot.

The RPI is not a poll. It's a thingamajig that goes by your strength of schedule. OC was not the #1 team in 2A, that was LCA based on who they beat during the season. Mayfield was or wasn't the #2 team in 2A.

Maybe. Owensboro Catholic should have had to play either Beechwood, Mayfield or LCA in the semi's to make it fair, just my opinion.

Kids like playing for Mayfield. I’ve been to plenty of Graves games. The fans aren’t into it unless they are playing Mayfield and you might win a ring at Mayfield.The fans are much more knowledgeable about football than Graves or they just care more. Plenty of kids start at Graves but they know at some point their going to Mayfield to play football. Graves is more of a basketball school. I know and like Lance Gregory. He’s a good guy and a good coach.

I think if they beat us, it's an upset.
