Well, we finished way behind in the poll last week , take the poll with a grain of salt. Beechwood can win this game, no doubt. And I always like to see how the members voted, none of that secret stuff.

We have played Newport Catholic Central and Walton Verona. Yes , I believe Beechwood is the only NKY team to ever play at War Memorial Stadium.

He is very very fast.

And I could see Mayfield scoring 44 or more on Beechwood.

I like PT in this one. 24-17.

I went to the Kentucky / Missouri game this year and it was a better atmosphere at this game than the SEC matchup. Lots of tailgating and the crowd was really into it. LCA brought a decent crowd and they were loud, it was a really good atmosphere. I can only hope it's like that for Beechwood.

Beechwood never moved, Mayfield did in 2015. In 2015 , Mayfield moved from 1A to 2A and won their last State Title. Beechwood stayed in 1A and won several more Titles. Then Beechwood grew in size and moved up around 2019 to 2A. They have never ducked anybody in my opinion.

Let’s go the last 3 games. In 19 Mayfield smoked Beechwood, in 21 Beechwood smoked Mayfield. In 22 A missed extra point is all that separated them.

Is Mayfield the best team LCA has faced? Could Mayfield stay on the field with Boyle County?

I like Mayfield in this one but I won’t say anything negative about Beechwood. They do it the right way. Thank you for the help during the tornado.

Yes , he is. Has speed and power. Nice forward lean. They use him like a rented mule, lots of carries and rightfully so.

I disagree. Mayfield sends players to college every year. They might be Murray or Lindsey Wilson or Kentucky Wesleyan or such. Starks will go somewhere this year , along with Biggers. Dabney had a chance too. To say that the coaches don’t help . I disagree, why would they not.

He is a dominate player. It's going to be nearly impossible to control Hensley and Boley. A two headed monster.

It all depends on several factors, qb development and so forth. Murray beat the weakest Mayfield team in the last 12 years or so. I think Murray will be better in the next few years but I’m not sold on them beating Mayfield. They’ve only won 17 times in over a 100 tries.

You might be right. But LCA is not a great defensive team in my opinion. That gives me some hope. If we can get into a shootout and get a few stops at the right time, then I have some optimism.
