Turnovers can make or break a game. If MF/BW play I suspect that turnovers will play a big role.

What did you see online about Mayfield Mr Guru that makes you think that ?

I've said it over and over, geez.

We got there and played a very bad game against a very good team. But we are talking about Beechwood and them getting blown off the field the last 2 years. Oh yes, blown off , the 38-0 in 09 was mercifull because Mayfield stopped in the 3rd quarter plus 2 tds were called back. Last year we took on a knee a the 2 yard line to end the game. Oh yes, we are talking about Beechwood and them not getting it done the last 2 and a half seasons and why should they be # 1 . Its the same ole same ole here about 100 against 4. Same thing the last 2 years Blah blah Beechwood this and that but what have they really done , then and now? Nothing.

Never meant for it be funny. I just have always wondered why that was a gold stamp or something. You can only say so much about why either one one should be #1 but to me Beechwood has done nothing to justify any claim to #1 other than potential. Mayfield is 35 and 2 since 09 and been to 2 straight championship games. They return a very very strong defense thats better than last years, the offense is getting better and better. Mayfield has done it on the field the last 2 plus years and they are not going on potential and until Beechwood beats Mayfield or shows that they can beat a team thats as good or near as good as Beechwood , I believe they are playing second fiddle.

Talk about schedules. Why would BW travel down to Etown to play that type of team? They had to know they would be zero competetion. What did they learn? Now, if they had played John Hardin , which is in the same county, that would have been worthwhile. Like I have said before BW has only beaten 1 team in the last 2.5 seasons that they were even with or even a slight underdog. What makes this year any different? Wait, I know, the seniors were NKY frosh champs.

Hey Ram In 09 if you came on here the over whelming majority said Beechwood was the team to beat. BW was the defending 2 time champs and what they had coming back. Mayfield 38 Beechwood 0. Last year more of the same, if you came on here the vast majority of BGPers said when Mayfield came to Beechwood that the long drive and home field advantage Beechwood would take this game. Mayfield 38 Beechwood 14. Has Beechwood with what they have returning make up this difference?

The Dixie game proved Beechwood is #1 and Mayfield will have to play it's best to beat them (if Mayfield makes it).
