  1. A score like this will tell me something about X
  2. Is Bye still undefeated ? I heard nobody will play them :ohbrother:
  3. Walker has played against him two years in a row now. This will be his third start, and he is no longer overlooked, as he gained 70 or so yards and caught a 60 TD pass against Big Moe as a Soph. Last year he had over 125 yards rushing and out ran Hubbard to the endzone easily twice. This will be his third career start against Moeller, and he knows what he needs to do. Don't remind Mr. Hubbard that Mr. Walker is a little over 190 lbs now as well and looks ALOT DIFFERENT than he did as a soph. Could be some good train wrecks.
  4. It........:ohbrother: Was................a......::jump: real?...........:scared: struggle.............really don't get this one. Nothing learned, just a week to get healed up I suppose.... Moeller is the real deal. Friday is a tough one, after getting the 3's and 4's plenty of reps
  5. Haha. Your dreaming. Keep wishing because you may get a crack at the Tigers later this year. I certainly hope so. St. X by 10. Huge upset
  6. I am expecting: 100 students at the game, 160 loyal fans and family-no other adult fans will venture out to waste their Friday night to watch what they have been seeing. Lots of kids wanting autographs..That is it. The thrill is gone. They hype is no longer and now only the kids can pump themselves up for one last run.
  7. Did he lose it again against BG ? I did not see BIG CHUCK --- UPCHUCK this game... I think he kept it all down.. I think the heat got to him game one and game two. He goes so hard. :puke:
  8. Good Work by Avid. Tellin' it like it is... More questions than answers. First Mistake: Why would you defer the kick after winning the toss ? X should have taken the ball and driven it down the neck of BG. Steady dose of Back A-B-or C would have set the tone and I am talking right down the field...... NO PASSES... Just good old Glaser ball to set it up.... I for one knew BG would score pretty much at will, and playing from behind with 12 minute quarters always adds to the equation. Second Mistake: Taking the ball first series right at them to a FIRST AND GOAL at the 4 Yd. Line. Sweep right for 7 yard loss ....////////?????WHY ????? Botched Pass........//////?????? Why ????? Settle for Field Goal..... You HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME> And so goes the rest of the game. I can go on and on........Hard to watch and I am afraid the more this staff works with the kids, the less they become interested. I truly think that they are starting to not believe in themselves QB should change now. There is nothing I have seen, including the inability to read a defense, or look at more than just one locked on receiver that tells me Nagle can handle this job........ Houck should get the start on Friday to see what he can do. I honestly don't know if he knows what he is calling. And all the fumbles, including one in the red zone. I would give him a D- for his play through 3 games. Lastly, get rid of this 3-4 defense... X does not have the personnel and the 4-3 works better for their rotation. no more droning..... I am over and out.
  9. This is a very unbiased thread and direct to the point(s). Agree 100%. I really hate to say it, but I think X lost a lot of fans last night. Mumbling and Grumbling leaving the game .... It's not the L, as I totally expected it to go either way, it's the way they lost. No discredit to BG. They were the better team..... Changes need to be made now. Trinity is not the problem, I'm now worried to death about Male
  10. :dancingpa...oh yea, you are thinking what I am thinking.................. Lets keep it hush hush.....
  11. Ballard is good. They should win this one easy.
  12. Let it Rip. Are you thinking what I am thinking ?
  13. You answered your own question X secondary is still working out kinks. I'm not sure what the coaching staff has up their sleeve
  14. Nope. It will be a W for the Tigers .... for once the Tigers are underrated in what has become a great rivalry game !
  15. I agree with this, because I believe these are the two best teams. Let me remind all: BG wins in 2011 because Scooter Hollis was the man and Glaser kept his secret weapon [#16] under wraps for the second half -perhaps underestimating his opponent? BG wins last year 2012 with a multi-talented corp, X QB out with concussion and a pathetic game plan in 2nd half [23-13 X at half] somebody made really good adjustments and somebody didn't. You tell me who did the former Now , I am no expert, but I see a literal barn burner on Poplar Level Road.
  16. I do have one question about this game. Whom scheduled the time and date, and could it have not been changed or tweaked ? Why is this kickoff basically right in the middle of the Cats/Toppers Televised Contest ? The game is in Lexington, which adds more speculation as to the time ? Nobody thought about moving this one up to 1:00 or something ?
  17. Ouch..........X by whatever margin is desired
  18. That's right Avid...lots of new coaches, lots of new players on the field for the first time. Excellent opponent..... They can't take the W off the board can they :thumb:
  19. It is possible. But not probable. X too, needs to start off right These teams match up well
  20. Good luck coach. You have great kids ! No matter what he outcome, wish you good luck. Who knows maybe we meet again !
  21. Coach J is being hush hush. Because he know he can pull off a monumental upset. St xavier. 38. Ballard 26 Unless he X coaches are ready to unleash the Three Headed Pony. This is a barn burner. X needs to quit holding back and "Play the Game". That's the only way you win
  22. Don't know what game you saw, but a scrimmage is a scrimmage is a scrimmage....you don't have to be impressed. Maybe we can meet again in the playoffs when something is on the line Start a new SK thread if you think so highly if your pioneers....
  23. Eerily similar... To past three teams we have seen. Remember, only in scrimmage format. QB is better this year
