Looks like an interesting final quarter. Last Twitter report I saw had St. X up 12-2 at the end of the third.

Great effort and game by the bruins. Hats off to coach j and co. Our defense is still as good as I thought but the pass defense must pick it up. The run d is tremendous and the pass d is shaky. The offense definitely has the potential to score points but the emphasis must not be on nagle throwing the ball and instead Davis, Percell, and walker. Special teams was atrocious. I think there was 1 missed fg and 3 blocked extra points. All three backs looked good. 2 tds for walker, 1 for Davis, 1 for Percell and 1 for nagle. I don't know if expectations were too high for nagle or he just had 1st game jitters but if we want to hoist the trophy at the end he has to play a lot better.

Congrats to X on the W

Hats off to St.X on their win. But, anyone who attended the game would agree that it was a much closer game than the score indicates. Coach Jackson and his staff did a great job preparing the Bruins. If I'm a young middle school QB or receiver and I want to play in a dynamic offense, there is no question I go to Ballard HS. While they did not have a great night running the ball, they will get better (you can count on that). St.X's run D was solid. However, the Ballard offensive line did a terrific job protecting the QB ... he had plenty of time to throw all night. Their quick passing game was very good and they had several deep pass plays that St.X could not stop. That said, Ballard probably left 3 or 4 TD's on the table...sometimes that happens, but with this Ballard team I'll bet it doesn't happen again. Entertaining game.

Both squads had a multitude of mistakes. However it was the first game of the season and this will be a great learning experience. Will bush is as advertised as far as speed is concerned. Overall I'm very confident in the 3 backs we have, there was no stopping them when we ran the ball. I would like to see walker play more safety then he did last night. Gg bruins.

I wouldn't say terrific, there were multiple occasions he was running for his life, sacked, or had to extend the play. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't as good as you've made it sound.

Our pass defense needs some serious work. Although I think if walker is at safety more it would shore up the pass d.
