Every Bird fan in the stands lost their voices with their displeasure of the one sidedness of this game. None directed at Lex Cath fans. Only the three stooges they called refs. I felt sorry for the Bluebird players as their frustration with the dirty play of Lex Cath had boiled over a couple of times. It was a disgrace. You can only kick a dog so many times before he bites you. With each bite it cost the Birds 15!!!!!!

Let's just say I was very dissappointed with not only the refs but with how dirty the Lex Cath players were as well as their fan base......Screaming over at our side like children with each score. I will say one thing, I've never seen a more animated Bluebird fan base as I witnessed tonight and I enjoyed it thoroughly. As for Lex. Cath: I've lost all respect.

I believe Boyle had the Birds down 21-8 in the first half. Lex. Cath was down 16-0 in the first half. And If I recall, they were extremely fortunate that they were only down 13 because Boyle had their number that night in the first half.

What was the score at the half when the Birds played Boyle?

At the very least, they're much more of a balanced threat than Covington Catholic. Bir gets the edge in passing, but Lex. Cath has a stable of horses in the backfield that will give Highlands fits...

I see Lex Cath shocking the lifeless 1st half Birds 21-7. How the Birds respond in the second half is another story. With so much emotion expended last week, they'll come out too laxed and have to be shocked back to reality.

Good point. They've been throwin' em' since I've been watching the past 8 yrs. Problem is when McCoy's eyes roll back in his head and he just launches one into double coverage. Not good odds this deep into the game.

I'll prefice my last prediction with this question; Will the Birds stay focused? CCH was a huge win and if ever a game could be called a trap game, this is the one. Lex. Cath seems more balanced on offense than CCH and could present some problems for the defense. McCoy can't be lofting haymakers in this one.

I do think it's a little alarming that Highlands only put up 28 with Cov. Cath turning the ball over 4 times. I am tending to agree that Highlands dodged a bullet friday.
