The only thing Towles had on McCoy was size and arm strength. Everything else is all McCoy, IMO. Granted, Towles could throw the long ball much better but he also had Sheehan. When Sheehan went down, so did alot of the Bluebird offense last year. With Towles size, it helped him see downfield alot better than McCoy.

Very true. Give him the three years they gave Towles and he's a D1 goliath, IMO.

If you're a team that struggles on defense, the last team you want to be facing in the title game would be Highlands. Looking back at their final scores apart from Cov Cath and Elder, all you see are 50's and 60's.....Collins struggles on D, therefore they will get punished.

Reflecting back on the 2012 season, what's your greatest memory of the year. I like the Jaylen Hayes juke on Boyle week 1 and the Seidl breakaway against Lex Cath personally.

It's killin' me that I have to miss this game. There is nothing like the annual pilgrimage including the drive down, freezing in the cold, chatting with friends and enemies, seeing the Birds play great, and watching the kids celebrate afterwards. It's almost become like a tradition and I'm sad to miss out on it. Video taped versions don't come close to such a good time. Go Birds and have fun!

These are about the best five I've seen. Maybe a little biased since I only go to see the Birds.

Watching the game films has given me new found respect for the line play. They're opening up craters so large, ABC could run through untouched.

If McCoy stays healthy, it's all but over for Collins. This is McCoy's last stand. Seidl will have a huge game as well.

At minute 3:53 you catch a good glimpse of #70 head butting a Bluebird 3-4 times during and after the play. It's painful to watch.

I think Lex Cath has become the Birds' new "Johnson Central". I simply can't wait for next season's game.
