Watching the game films has given me new found respect for the line play. They're opening up craters so large, ABC could run through untouched.

It has been said many times, but bears repeating that Coach T (Scott Turner) does an outstanding job year after year assembling a top notch unit. On many high school teams, the largest, slowest and least-athletic players are relegated to playing the O Line, and the results show. If you play O Line for Highlands, you will be in shape and expected to perform with the same precision expected of "skill" players.

My son has played many a game against the Bluebirds and he has always said the same as the bolded above.

I hear a favorite line of Coach Turner's when the team is breaking for individual is "Skill players right here, Running backs, wide receivers and QB's in the other end zone."

I have to disagree with the great coach part to say that he is the best O-Line coach around...I don't know if there is a better one in KY or Greater Cincinnati. He is a big part of the success enjoyed by Highlands since he arrived in the late '90's.

About time this group gets somw props... Congrats to the FKA!!!!!!!!!!!

Coach Turner's son, Scottie, has great size, great skill and is a junior. The junior class has many really good linemen. I see big problems for opposing defenses next year.

Whoa - hold on a minute - lets not get carried away here - the field is only 55 yds wide.

 

O Line has had an awesome year.

 

Great job Mitch Dee, Rich Whitford, Jason Thome, Scott Turner, Tyler Schweitzer, Bryan Saunders, Kendall Kramer with an assist from TE's Nick True, Jack Grimm and Kyle Thurston.
