Bluebird run defense looked great. Are the Birds porous with the pass defense? Seems the Trinity team beat the Birds in the air last night.

I think you'll be surprised at how tough Highlands will be by mid season. Remember, this was the first game for Houliston under center. Solid #2 IMO

Sounds like this rule was developed with certain teams being the focus.

I agree. Conditioning will become an issue for some teams as they play more competitive games deep in the playoffs.

Probably a good thing, but bad for the Birds and the fans. I think alot of folks will be upset if they have to watch halftime games most of the season. I've seen games where the Birds have scored 35 in the 1st qtr alone.

The Bluebirds are forced to play teams put in their district. Teams like Pendleton, Harrison, etc... These teams get steamrolled by default. I doubt the Bluebirds would be playing them otherwise. Talk to the KHSAA if you have a beef.

Cause they get beatdown, their offense doesn't see the field, their defense gets hurt, the fans don't show up, and the kids can't wait for the running clock. Isn't that enough? Would be for me.....I'd be saying on that night, "Where's the afterparty?" if I was a kid.

Ok 4 out of the 5 ranked in the "Top 5 of KY" thread have their own national ranking thread now. First it was BG representing and getting on their high horse, then others like this thread followed. Boy, I cannot wait for the season to start so we can start dishing out the crow! Nah, actually I think it's quite comical.
