  1. Yep. Its time to make us all believers again.
  2. I think 5 seems like a pretty conservative spot for CovCath. Returning a decent foundation, including what should be one of the best QBs in NKY and the second year under the HC. I'm buying CCH stock. IMHO, this is a critical year for Dixie. I think the program takes steps that project a positive future, or starts a downward spiral.
  3. Are there 3 starters returning on the O-line?
  4. And throw in 2003. Crazy, but we almost took down X at nipppert.
  5. We're on the same page. Outside of the run between 2004-2006, CovCath hasn't had the horses to take down the Ohio big boys.
  6. I have a feeling that the colonels elected to be a part of the event without knowing the match up. I'll bet the people putting on the event are a bit unwilling to give the colonels a marquee match up at great venue.
  7. Scott=Sansa Stark. Was pushed around for a while, but is now on the cusp of becoming a key player.
  8. CovCath=Wyman Manderly From the North. Poised to eat their enemies in stewed meat pies.
  9. 4.9 is rock solid for kids playing linebacker/d-end The kids playing skill positions and defensive back would be better off running faster than that. Kids slower than that might be better off playing d-line. A solid time for a high school offensive linemen would be something between 5.2 - 5.5
  10. I have to agree with you, really. I just thought the rarity of the loss, and the fact that it was as time expired could make it painful in the Fort.
  11. How about the 2006 loss to end the regular season?
  12. Against Saint Xavier last year maybe. Or possibly one of the Highlands games circa 2009 ish.
  13. CovCath-2001/Rockastle County in the state semi final has to be the most painful.
  14. Add Nolan Siegrist to that list. Big, strong, fast kid.
  15. How about CovCath 1987-1997? 5 state titles
  16. They have a new (old) Coach. They may be a year away from making some big noise in Single A. I'm assuming the line play will be solid (Bronger is a guru). McDonald is pretty mobile and throws a nice ball, but he's a sophomore, so there will certainly be some growing pains.
  17. I love the three class idea. I love it a little less when I see CovCath in the same division at T/X/H though.
  18. Correct. I think if goes something like: "Young ladies on the hill. Gentlemen in the valley."
  19. Man, it would be awesome if there was some way to seed the playoffs. Rank the teams 1-32.
  20. Im optimistic about the future at my alma mater, but the record books speak too loud. Until we knock off Highlands, they're number one.
  21. We might be thinking on two different wave lengths right now. I'm alluding to Mike Mitchell and his mysterious absence from the 2004 state championship game.
