I understand what you are saying, but neither team is anywhere near what they were last year, Raceland for the better and Fairview for the worse. Fairview's biggest loss was Roy and Washington, probably one of the best QB/WR tandems this part of Kentucky has ever witnessed. Raceland lost quite a bit of negative mantra.

It will be rather discouraging if Raceland doesn't put an early running clock on Fairview and extremely discouraging if they give up 13 points.

Meh, refs have very little, if anything to do with the outcome of a playoff game. Especially when the final is 48-28.

I would love to see Raceland pull out the victory here, but I just don't see it happening. I don't believe this team ever met their full potential. I haven't seen enough improvement in the defense over the last three weeks that would lead me to believe that Raceland can contain Paintsville's offense. I suspect the score will be similar to the first time around.

I think this team has the talent to make a run in the playoffs, I just don't know that they want to. The attitude and energy level is too Jekyll and Hyde. I'm not sure they have the confidence to ride a bus two miles to Flatwoods to beat Russell, much less ride two plus hours to beat Bishop. Just my opinion though.

Prior to the bye week they appeared to be a team that was starting to put things together, then the Fairview game happened and the rest is history.

The talent base at Raceland is cyclical, always has been and probably always will be and the success of Raceland football goes hand in hand with that. Raceland graduated a lot of talent from last year's football team and I'm not just talking about Conner Messer. I would venture to say that last year's defensive backfield was one of the best ever to walk the halls of Raceland. Sometimes it's hard to see or admit the hard times when they strike. It's been a very disappointing season, but I hesitate to say so on here, because the guys wearing the orange goggles have a tendency to go bat poop crazy. The preseason hype and state title talk about this team doomed them from the beginning. The last two games do not give me a good feeling about the next two.

Salmons had a whole bunch of questionable coaching calls and the onside kick did him in. Raceland could potentially go winless in the district for the first time since 2000!

Fairview is giving up 32 PPG and Raceland can't score against them?
