Fairview has now lost two in a row and may have lost their outstanding wide receiver Washington for the season. East Carter has also lost their last two, including a lopsided loss to Fairview's district rival Raceland. Can Fairview right the ship and get back to winning? Is the loss of Washington so big a blow that Fairview will struggle the rest of the year? Could East Carter possibly get the win in this one?

If Washington is out then Fairview is beatable. They can still wins some games but it pretty much assures they cannot beat Paintsville or Raceland in the district race. Roy is an excellent QB but Washington is a game changer especially with an offense that runs a lot of screens. Someone else has to step up for Fairview in the receiving corps. If that doesn't happen then I will give East at least a punchers chance.

I listened to some of the Fairview game on Friday and I think Washington played in that.

Even without Washington, Fairview has to much skill for East. With Washington running clock #3 for East , without Washington Fairview by 3 TDs.

If he was out I was going to pick East with no hesitation. He is good and will give any team fits if he is playing.

 

East played Fairview pretty close last year until Fairview pulled ahead by a bunch late. I think no matter what this is going to be close but I'm gonna keep with my Raiders and leave it at that.

Bath County did? East's offense can definitely score 35 on Fairview. But we will see this Friday.

Bath has a much more physical team than East. I was at that game, Fairview has trouble with teams that run straight at them with power. No power game for East.

EC has a history of playing really well against the Eagles. But, they struggled with West Carters speed, they struggled with Raceland's strength and size upfront. Fairview by 21+

Saw the film and that is 100% true about the homerism the Eagles dominated that game. If you looked at the yardage I think it looked like a blowout but Eagles had to face the home refs in that.

 

East may be overwhelmed by the Eagles again in this one when it comes down to it, but this will be closer than Raceland and West Carter games (two teams I believe will/would handle Fairview)
