That's what I meant.

Russell needs this win bad to claim #1 seed in the playoffs.

We are seemingly done. Paintsville may have took the last breath out of us. Hopefully we can munster up some sort of gusto and find a way to make this season a little more bitter sweet, bc right now things are tragically bitter in Ramland.

I think Raceland and Russell pretty much know how their seasons will eventually play out. Unless miracles happen in Raceland or Belfry catches the flu bug. Will be a good gate and great for the community. With that being said....Let The Trash Talking BEGIN!!! Lol

I think it should play out to be a good competitive game neither team is what everyone expected if it's a rainy game I take the Rams but if it stays dry I say the Devils take it by 2 tds

I hate to say it but Raceland looked done. They are not the same team as earlier in the year. They looked defeated right of the bat tonight. I doubt they win this week at Russell but still say they beat BB in the first round of the playoffs. I don't know where that would send them but if things don't change that will be it.

Rooting for Raceland, I want to see a couple home playoff games in Carter County.

I think Russell will win the number 1 seed no matter how this game ends up. It looks like the most opponents wins West Carter will be able to count will be 20 and the fewest Russell would count would be 20.

If that's the case it goes back to head to head and Russell gets the top seed.

That said, this game is two teams going in different directions. I think Russell wins big and eliminates the drama.

It does not go back to head to head. You continue to look at wins for teams you've beat until a tie is broken. No where in the rules does it refer back to head to head for a three team tiebreaker.

Now if they are tied after all opponents wins are exhausted, the commissioner settles the tie. He would likely go with head to head but doesn't have to.

Rules are available online, so let's not guess or make things up.

I'm fairly sure that with Ironton winning last night that the Raceland game will have no effect on the seeding. At least that is what two of the Russell coaches told me last night.
