Russell wins in a similar way they beat Ironton and Greenup, but with a little more scoring.

Devils 25

Comets 19

Russell has too much.

Devils 37

Comets 14

The best two teams in the district match up, in a game that I think decides the #1 seed. I'm gonna stick with West as my prediction in here, but I went with Russell in the EKY regional contest... I'm going to be right either way.:lol2:

Russell. West too one dimensional.

Russell, but it won't be easy.

I'm going pick the upset and go with West.

This game comes down to the Comet defense, if we can play D against Russell like Greenup did then I see a win............stupid mistakes and missed tackles could make for a long night.

This game could very well decide the district champion which means home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

West Carter is by far faster than Russell. If Russell expects West to lay down for them, West will lay multiple touchdowns on them in a hurry. West Carter has never beaten Russell but I believe if it's going to happen it has to happen this year with this strong senior class.

Plus from what I've been told Russell is pretty banged up, so the depth advantage may not be such an advantage after all

I don't think Russell will expect West to lay down. I expect Russell to come in and take care of Business by 2+ tds.

We'll see if West is by far faster than Russell on Friday which I don't think so. The Brown kids especially Braden are fast but the rest of the team isn't much faster if any.
