I watched the Conner-Boone game sat,not a good barometer on what Conner has this year on both offence and defence.Thier line was not tested at all by,if you want to call it a defence by Boone which was horrible by any standard.And also Conners defence again was not tested by a horrible offence which had a RB playing QB that could not throw more than 5 yards.On the other hand SK played a tough team in Collins away and a former state champ in HC which is no where near the same team but still ten times better than Boone.Conner basically had a scrimage sat against a bad opponent.so this basically is Conners first game which happens to be against a quality team.If Conner has to play multiple players both ways S K could possibly wear down Conner.It might come down to the old saying" who has the ball last will win".

Has Fogle of Conner received any offers,seems there was alot of interest but have'nt heard anything yet

Great to hear that Conner is finally at full strengh.Lets's see what the D has to offer,so far it has been to up and down,more down than up.I would love to see the defensive side play angry and with passion for once, and take it to their opponent,instead of the opponent taking it to them.If they can do that watch out Oldham and the rest of 5a.

It will be Collins/Morris vs Barker/Fogle both are pretty much two man teams.I give Cooper the def edge, and Conner the off edge.If Conner's D line can show up disrupt Cooper's O and keep Cooper's O line off the LB'S and D backs Conner will win,if not Fogle and company will tire and Cooper will win.It might come down to who has the ball last,should be a very tough and entertaining game.But i think Conner by 7 at home

It did count in the stat page,that's it. but there wasn't anyone within 20 yards of him.It was a def bigtime breakdown take a gift when u get it.

Loney did have a nice catch on the 55 yarder but the other one was a fluke play against a backup cb.So actually 1 catch for 55 yards and 1 td.I'm sure he'll have better games than that, looks like a nice wideout but let's wait and see only 1 game under belt.

I'll be the first to disagree.They gave up 19 only because Boone stop themselves,fumbles, bad snap, penalties dropped passes etc.Boone's O is probably the most easy to defend,run up the middle and a pass every so often.When you're Db's make almost every tackle you have problems.Conner had to take Fogle from safty to cb because he was spending to much energy making every tackle at safty,and poor # 25 who took Fogle's place took a beatdown.When you can't stop the other team you'll be on the field alot.

How can you forget about players you never heard of.Did they play varsity last year and did they do anything to remember them for this year.Only two players on Conners O is of course Barker and Fogle to very talented players but contain them Conner is done.Their D is not strong even if Roman says they r better than last year that still means other teams will score at will.Boone will run over Conner's D, and keep Barker and Fogle of the field.Boone wins by 2 Td's.

Im excited to see Drew Barker coming through and making a big mark in the cougar system along with returning reciever Fogle. But i was not too impressed with Mulderink last year, as he was not as an reliable reciever(dropping easy balls, lazy routes) as Miller was. But if he can fix that he should have an impact. Cant wait fo rthis season to start and watch these young Cougar team perform.:ylsuper:

Conner looked tired.Maybe not enough substitutions during the year finnaly caught up with them.
