My predictions: Region semi-finals will consist of Boone, Holmes, 36th district winner, Dixie The 9th region will send out their referees and replace them with diffrent referees for regional play...thank goodness! A winter storm will cause serious disruption to the schedule, and some seeded games will have to be played at inoppertune times, or will end up being decided by a coin flip. Dixie will feel like "State Champs".....(just kidding)......but will get two wins on the same day as they play Villa at noon, and the Austrialian National Team later that night. NKAC: Dayton or Villa will win Division III (this has not been done this decade) Newport or NCC will win Division II (Brossart has a outside chance) Holmes will win Division I The new year will get kicked off in the right way because on two day into it (Jan 2nd) we are treated with some great games: Scott @ Brossart Holmes @ Mason Co. and there are several others Let the NEW YEAR RING!!!

Tough to play 4 games in 4 days. Regardless of the score, nice showing from both teams. Conner you hung with a more athletic team in Newport and put yourself in position to win the game. & Newport way to bounce back after a tough loss, and not play your best and still get the "W."

I was more impressed with Campbell Co. than any other team that I saw at the Lloyd Tournament. I'm not saying they were the best; Holmes, Bryan Station, and Newport has way more athletic ability and size. But overall execution offensively, defensively, and coaching, Campbell was fun to watch. I thought they were sound fundamentally, and play very hard. Keep up the good work Camels, and Coach Code.

How is the health of Trammel?

Not sure about all the games, but I do know the following teams won today: Holy Cross beat North Laurel Campbell Co. beat VMA Cooper beat Bellevue Cumberland Co. beat Lloyd Holmes beat Newport

Give Trinity's defense some credit. They are typically one of the better defensive teams in state.

I know that Boone had one bad quarter the night before, and that occassionaly happens to every team during the course of the season, esspecially in December. Boone is very good, and they must have shown it today.

Glad to see most NKY teams doing pretty well in the first round of all the tournaments in the state. Hope to see a NKY team win some of these tournaments (Bank of republic, Ashland, and Lloyd Invitational).:thumb:

Conner by as much as they want. Coach Hicks will have the oppertunity to work on different things, and play different combination of players if he wishes.

Boone is a solid team. They will be fine.
