You make some very sound points, but you may be wrong about this one. I have seen this kid play and I definately consider him a difference maker and I would easily put in him the same class with Fant, Fucci, and Barksdale. I believe anytime an individual player can take over a game and put up 20+ points that kid is a difference maker.

The last I have heard of Stroud he was playing with the Royal Family again, but i haven't seen too much of them lately.

It is nice to finally see some good conversation on here again. To lighten the tone a little, I saw where the WKY Elite were playing in AAU nationals this year. Does anyone know if they added players or who is playing on this team? They only had 7 or 8 players at state.

It sounds like they may not have had a choice.

I did read about the Ohio offer, but had not heard about Marshall yet. Way to go Rico.

Are you ranking the programs in general or the teams as individuals?

I agree 100%. That is why I said we may get surprised. I look for Highlands to contend very tightly for the 9th. region.

This is not just your opinion, you are stating some very solid facts and I do not intend to disagree with all that you have said. I don't believe the intention was to dig up the whole argument over which teams garner more exposure, but to express an opinion of what the Holmes players need to do to solidify them a chance to play at the next level. My comments were that they should continue to put in work and stay where they are. This was based on the fact that they are rising seniors that have about (10) days of AAU evaluation left. If their original team is not playing, more power to them to find another one to play on, but to jump on board with another program this late in the period seems ludacris.

How about since Bolus has Pittman and Johnson at one and two in KY that they stay where they are and keep putting in work. I agree with Catbird in that if you play well, coaches will find you. I am not a beleiver that AAU team jumping is the way to get noticed.

I knew he wrote for the courier journal so I would understand the Louisville and Southern Indiana kids. I didn't realize that the Courier covered Lexington also.

It is always about winning. Loyalty to a team is gone when the kids take off their colored wrist bands and can guard who they want. The point is to get as much exposure as possible. Play in front of people who can help you get where you need to be.

I agree with you here. This has to be disappointing to such a talented group of seniors.(having a team such as Holmes in your region to contend with) We may get surprised.

Was this last year's CIA Bounce teams? Does anyone know who #25 was for the U15 team? This kid is a stud.

I saw this kid play this past week at Hoopfest. He plays with a tremendous amount of emotion. If he can channel that into something positive he will be a very good ball player.

Setty would be a nice addition. I am assuming he worked out fine. The Pittman team was doing extremely well.

I saw a close one today between IN Elite One and Team Takeover from Canada. Team Takeover one by two at the buzzer. It was a good game. Shining Stars Pittman put a hurt on Legion???? in the gold bracket. I also saw that NKY Bulldogs were up by ten or eleven over Club Ohio when I left.

Happened to see that the Derek Smith All-Stars made it into the tournament. How does that work? Also happend to catch the end of their game this mornin. They lost to the NKY Bulldogs. Who plays for them?
