Do you think Davis will play defense? With the QB situation, I kind of doubt it and hope he doesn't. Is the new guy going to play defense? I thought the defense was pretty much set with all/most players returning and he was going to play center. I agree with Bradley comment. I think Evertt (sp) with his size will be a force at DE. I hear that Verkamp is getting huge in the weight room. Staten has been a stud for 2 year Nuss is a very good linebacker. As deep as they are, I wouldn't let Vocke or Davis on the defensive side of the ball unless I absolutely had to.

That poor kid has had a heck of a HS career. I haven't followed it as closely as others but it seems as though he has been hurt in one way or another since his soph. year. Seems to me he hasn't played much HS sports. If I remember correctly, Fresh. and Soph. year of football. Same for baseball and now baseball for his senior year. I know this happens to kids all the time but seems like he has had his share of bad luck.

What happens in spring practice? Hit the field and run plays with helmets on?

Why is it sad? One kid moved and the other transfered. Two different things.
